Cheap and cheerful course on the gold coast?

hi all!

At the end of the year, I’m taking a bunch of family up to the GC and some of them may want to have a hit. None of them will have played much and it may be the first time for some. Clearly, I won’t want to be taking them to the premium courses. but can the forum recommend cheaper public courses that might be a good option? 9-hole / pitch and putt would be fine. Thanks!

Emerald Lakes is a good fun, reasonably short course which is middle of the road price wise. The back nine is also flood-lit so you can play 9 holes in the evening or play a full 18 but not tee off till around 5pm when it’s nice and cool and a bit quieter.

Carrara Gardens up the road from Emerald Lakes is a pitch and putt option. Has mainly Par 3’s and a couple of Par 4’s. Boomerang Farm is a fun nine hole course as well.

Meadow Park is a flat easy walking no frills course that would suit, played it many times with family and mates who hardly play. 9 holes but can play 18 from second set of tees 2nd time around, can even be used to hone a better players short game whilst the hit and giggles are going on around you

Palm Meadows is only $49 with a cart and a logo cap for 18 holes at the moment even cheaper depending on time of play
