received my copy of planet golf yesterday & was blown away some of the photo’s especially in scotland by david scaletti, they are so incredible it really does feel like you are there in the picture.having played some of these courses it gives a perfect picture of what is like. it was also nice to see some new pictures of ellerston, but also it seems such a waste that it is hardly ever played. this book really shows that scaletti is the best golf photographer going round. the only criticism would be some of text has been reused from australia’s finest golf courses & i think darius oliver goes a bit overboard with the rating systems, but golfers are a bit self indulgent at times, the photography truly is incredible.

When I first looked at amazon it was $60 and when you put the link up it was $23 so I thought bargain i’m buying it, procrastinated for a while and now it’s $36… bugger. Will have to keep an eye on it.
