Strangely, even picking up the opponent’s ball marker does not indicate concession (Dec 2-4/5). You must ‘reasonably’ believe that a concession has been made—walking to the next tee is a common form of bad etiquette and I definitely wouldn’t interpret it as a concession.

i can not say for sure if the players were using the rules to their advantage and hoping the player would pick the ball up as they had previously conceded a similar put on the 2nd and this was the 4th. i felt sorry for the player losing the hole as he is fairly dissabled and has a little seat that he sits on and a stick to help him when he tees up and replaces his ball on the green which is quite dificult for him. i can only hope that they did not trick him

I think the millions he donates to charity say more about his character.

I’m not suggesting Tiger has bad character, but most wealthy people who care about their public reputation donate to charity.

Cliff, please be as belligerent as you like. So you have seen Tiger walk off, I’ve watched a ton of golf and I have never seen him do any other than be courteous and polite.
I have seen him deliberately try to quiten the gallery after he has finished on the green so that following players can finish. Maybe he has walked off, that would be rare, and then you have the temerity to bring up an issue of “breeding”! Have you got one of those sheets with the eye holes cut out? Lets get a gang, a big cross and some torches, track him down and get Tiger, with the bad knee he should be easy to catch.
Or is it just the case that he has more golf ability in his excrement than you will ever possess, maybe that’s what really irks you.

The term “lack of breeding” has referred to a lack of manners sicne Jesus played u18s for jeruselum jets.

I have also seen Woods walk off a green before a partner has putted out, not necessarily in match play.
