NOT REALLY LOOKING FOR ANY ADVICE JUST INTERESTED IN OTHER PLAYERS THOUGHTS. HAD A BUCKETFUL OF RAIN THURSDAY NIGHT & FRIDAY & THE COURSE IS SOAKED, STILL PLAYABLE THOUGH. GROUND STAFF DECIDED IT WAS TOO WET TO MOW THE GREENS SAT MORNING, (FAIR CALL) HOWEVER THERE WE ARE PLAYING A STABLE FORD COMP .& ON THE GREENS ARE DOZENS OF LITTLE MUSHROOMS. THEY ARE NOT LOOSE IMPEDIMENTS BECAUSE THEY ARE GROWING SO HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH THIS SITUATION . IT,S REAL INTRESTING TRYING TO PUTT THROUGH THEM
A bad day on the golf course is better than no golf at all.

They tend to grow overnight in hot damp weather so normally they are cut down by the morning cut. With only about 20 members on a very damp course really wasn,t worth making a fuss

did you try smoking any ? Our local is a municipal course , and a whiles back the council imported some bark and mulch from out of town , unbeknown at the time , the stuff was loaded with spores etc from magic mushrooms , it was mixed with the other stuff in the yard , and spread all over town ….... isnt uncommon to see people cruising the course picking the little suckers .....good old council huh , they meant well lol
