Why do people always want to make the game easier?
Just go to the driving range if that is what is wanted.

What other rules are we not playing by?
 

What you talking about? We’ve only got:

  • driving ranges if the short game is too hard
  • putt putt golf if everything other than putting is too hard
  • golf forums if golf is too hard
  • carts if walking is too hard
  • belly putters if moving two arms is too hard
  • DMDs if estimating by eye is too hard
  • Aimpoint charts if reading break is too hard
  • frying pan drivers if hitting the clubface is too hard
  • 6 million patents for different tees if teeing up is too hard
  • Perimeter weighted irons if blades are too hard
  • Oversized perimeter weighted irons if perimeter weighted irons are too hard
  • Hybrids if oversized perimeter weighted irons are too hard
  • Launch monitors if knowing which of two drivers hits it farther is too hard
  • Biomechanists if moving our body in the natural way it’s meant to move is too hard

    • Actually maybe you’re right, I think there’s a lot more.

     
     

    And all the various relief options in the present rules if the original 13 are too hard.
