These seem to be a good deal. Anyone interested?

Doesn't seem to say they're below reserve.

seems like a good deal :?

maybe

TOO

good

It is a shop though with nearly 3000 sales and 99.8 feedback. Import duties and taxes would be hefty though  Thats what would bump up the price being from USA smile.gif

Yeah good deals, except he says he ships with UPS...so look out for duties

Taylor360 - as I read it he says he uses UPS inside the US and USPS for international, that was certainly the case when I contacted them a few months ago. It looks like the items are listed simultaneously on US and Aus eBay but do seem surprisingly cheap; expect to see the price head rapidly upwards as the close time approaches, I guess...

yeah, do an item watch and see the price rise later on

The 580XD is too big anyway :x

gimme 360cc of pure heaven anyday

Sorry for thread jacking but, What size is the 300 Tour Jarro :?: 300cc? Because it sounds like you like 3600cc heads. Then wouldn't you get a 360 Tour :?: smile.gif

the 300Tour is 360cc of ball crunching driver

I would have already snapped that one up, but its a shame Taylor Made and i dont get along.

Fourteen Hi all the way baby! laugh.gif

as far as the duty goes...i read up the Customs website and golf imports have a 5% duty on them - is that all or is there GST applicable as well?

AlexMc

, you need to add about 17.5% to the value, they add the 5% on first and then the 10% GST sad.gif If you get hit with a BS quarantine fee then you can add another $55 on top of the already BS price

If you have a friend in the USA you can just have it shipped to him, and he can ship it as a "gift". I don't think they can levy any duties whatsoever on gifts.

BTW you can expect the 500 series XD's to get even cheaper. The 700 series is due in about 3 months.

ThaFurnace

, ship it as a gift for sure but if it is VIA UPS they will only take the gift value ($250 I think??) off the customs charge, not the value of the club! USPS is the best option but I think they are getting tough on parcels longer than 42"

That's what's put me off considering them, plus the fact that I only
just got a new std R580 (YS-6 at Xmas. It's working well and even though
someone in our social club reckons that the XD is 20m longer (I can't see
that, but hey, who knows?) I'd have trouble getting it past the director of
finance!

I dont think the XD goes any further at all than the originals :? btw, I was told that they only brand out the XD's to fill in a time gap between the regular and the R7 Quad. They didn't want to lose any sales to Titleist in this gap so thats why they did it. Can anyone back this up :?:

well I prefer the XD to the standard 540 that I hit...probably has something to do with the extra size...but its still fairly workable too

too big in my opinion :x

it's not so much the size that bugs me...coz the Cobra SZ is just as ridicolous...
I just don't "good" over the club (540/580XD)...
I get the vibe that I would hit the normal 510/540/580 "BETTER" than the XDs...and that's saying a lot!!! 8)

so, I can't wait to get my hands on the MP001... biggrin.gif

Hope this is the one..

..you've been talking it up for a while  laugh.gif

Gonna ditch the 983 already Mau :?: 8O Oh well, I like the MP-001 myself. BTW, How much is it where you live? smile.gif

no no...not gonna get rid of the K... 8)

we have an MP001 with a lite shaft in it...but it's either in mum's or dad's bag...

so as soon as they can find a 510TP c/w Fuji 661 in Singapore, I'm guessing the MP001 will be headed to the "used" room...and that's where I'll pick it up, reshaft it and boom...spare driver!!! biggrin.gif
