He's very happy but I'll let him fill in the detail's biggrin.gif

Yes, do tell Jarro.

What are they like? I was thinking of getting a set... smile.gif

Heya Guys ... seems like everyone wants to know about the A10's biggrin.gif

All i can say is that they are the best feeling irons i've ever hit ... heaps better than the LT's mau...glad i didn't get 'em

Sensicore shafts were great too, seeing as though i didn't get a chance to hit these irons before i got to the course, i was a bit worried about how they might feel, but the shafts took all the sting out of the many bad shots i played on the day

Also was a bit concerned how they might be affected by hitting of hard/rocky lies.
Well i hit one shot of some bad gravel with rocks as well and the club didn't get a scratch... i was very impressed smile.gif

Thanks again Adam... i dont know why you sold 'em but i'm sure glad you did :!:

Mau, go and buy a set today laugh.gif

and Adam, what's your new set and can i buy it in advance? laugh.gif

I have had a set of the A10's for about three months now and have so far found them excelllent. They are such a good looking club. I did pay full price for mine though but it was money well spent. I am now hitting one to two clubs less than my previous Cobra shovels, with the same Rifle shafts, and with a whole lot more confidence as well.

jarro, Glad you are enjoying them . still not sure what i want - basically i am looking for a set that make things as easy as possible. had a dig around yesterday at the shops and had a hit with set of Cally X14 pros and BB2002 on the course. Have always liked the X14's. pricy but lovely. The BB2002's were amazing to hit, particuarly off heavy lies after all the rain we have had. solid off the tee. only problem is that they look like the product of a wild night between a tonka truck and a golf club sad.gif also a bit worried about their bounce when the lies get a bit harder and more bare.

Macleod - is there a set of irons/wedges you haven't bought already? tongue.gif

go the topflite xl2000's then. same wide sole but not quite as chunky. diamond sole design is great off all lies.

game improvement heaven smile.gif and with a decent set of matched shafts...

i like all the new fancy schmancy irons but the benefit of the xl2000's to a hack like me currently is too hard to separate from...just need to get the shafts matched correctly methinks.

cheap too! esp. compared to the bb2002...that or go the Acer widesoles from Ben, same stuff, better price than the bb2002's

Mau, go and buy a set today

the hunt starts tomorrow!!!

cheers for the feedback!!!

safe to assume that there won't be much difference in terms of feel btw the A10s and the Revos...

mau, similar feel, probably better than the revos. the longer irons have a tiny bit more offset than the regular revos, easier to hit.

Yeah... what he said smile.gif

Mau,
being a longtime Maxfli user, you owe it to yourself to up-grade to the A10's...trust me, you won't be disappointed

mau - have a look on the golfworks website - i saw a set of maxfli tour ltd irons for $899 - they are a cavity too i think - can't remember if they are a combo set.

reg320

, those are forged and non-combo set!!! Cavities all the way, which is no problem, but I think I like the look of some blades in my bag!!!

just a wonder if the move from Revo Midsize to A10s (in terms of offset) might be a worry...after all...I need that offset!!! I'm a hack... :

i'm sure you'd be able to handle the A10's mau...

if i can hit 'em half decent you'd be OK with 'em smile.gif

they seem pretty forgiving, i hit a couple right off the toe, but the ball still went pretty close to expected distance, just a little left of the target

At least see if you can get yourself a demo set to try out.

On a side note... i had one of the pro's from Wynnum pro shop call me today to tell me that the Precept Tour Premium CB"s i demoed were now available to buy...
i took great pleasure in telling him "No thanks" laugh.gif

u hitting them any longer than the 990s??? or the same???

easily a club longer for me.

Heaps better feeling (probably the shafts) and lots better looking smile.gif

can't see myself getting rid of these for LONG time :!:

Gameboy my brother, welcome to the dark side smile.gif

All I can say is Ping Ping Ping Ping everybody loves Ping smile.gif

The A10s have slightly stronger lofts than the revs. Close to a club longer. It was something I noticed when i hit some a while back.

Ping Ping Ping Ping... still loving my I3+s...

Thinking about one of those Nike CPR Woods though... or maybe waiting for a 17° SMT Solitaire...

Boy I love those higher lofted wood/hybrid/rescue clubs.

Oh sorry... lost my train of thought...

Ping Ping Ping Ping

You shouldn't have got me started Jaster!

BTW... did PingKen do a good price on the MOI for you Jaster?

i can't seem to find any sites that have the specs for the A10's ... anyone know one? I'd like to check them out.

Does seems that they are a tad stronger lofts on the irons...cool 8)
