Golf Grips

Years ago there was little choice in golf grips Golf Pride dominated and their grips were pretty standard then. Now the choice is endless Golf Pride,Lamkin,Winn, and several others give us many choices in style, texture, feel and colour. It’s the same with putter grips stodgy old black thin ones are replaced by bigger, wider, flatter shapes and in all colours.
One I really like is the Tiger Shark jumbo comes in red, blue, green.yellow and orange feels teriffic but not cheap.Still it’s worth it as the only part you touch with your hands is the grip and it needs to feel right imo.

No matter how bad your game it is always possible to get better or worse

A guy I played with on the weekend had changed to a jumbo putter grip, he seemed to think it was great. Looked bulky but I didn’t have a put with it so I can’t comment on putting feel.

I just changed the grip on my Odyssey putter to one of their new Taboo grips. It is a very similar profile but weighs 11 grams less then the original. The best feature is the feel it is much softer with a gummy feel.

I love my black and white Odyssey grip fitted to my white hot #1, soft and firm at the same time…

3 bad shots and 1 good shot is still a 4....
Golf is played in a very small area, the 6 inches between your ears...

the grips on yes putters feel awesome and they look cool.

although in wet weather it is like putter with a stick of butter.

woohoo my birthday today!! 14 y/o

Yes putter grips do feel good Have seen the white middle section get discoloured and detract from appearance .Also very highly priced imo much too expensive here not so dear in USA
Still whatever takes our fancy is the way to go.

Yes, putter grips have come a long way. i personally like the feel of the new gurien rife grips made my winn. Although in the wet they do not hold up as good as i would like they are a very good allround putting grip. Also i can not go past the new decade multi compound grips from golf pride. The technology that golf pride and many other leading grip brands put into grips is amazing. i think without a good grip on a club the club will simply not work.
