I’m keen to get a new Ogio golf bag (preferably stand bag).

Do people know which shops around Melbourne stock them for a good price?

Sorry I cant help you with stockists in Melb, I just got mine from the states…............I got the GROM, standbag…..........

What a fantastic bag, I absolutley love it, plenty of pockets, everything is well laid out, great innovations such as the ball resivoir, zipperless ball pocket and the drinkbottle holder….......

OccasionalGolfer,
I was in a House of Golf store on the weekend (in Brisbane) and I was told the company that imported Ogio into Australia has gone under, and it’ll be 3 months or so before they are being imported into the country again. The only way you’ll find any at the moment is if specific stores have leftover stock. So your best bet is to ring around I’d say, otherwise wait till they are imported again.

I saw what I think was a Grom in Drummonds in the city last week. Suggest you give them a call.

i was contemplating doing that last time while I was in the States, but was paranoid that the bag will be crushed during the airplane trip.

did u bring it over the bag byitself, but was the bag in some original cardboard box??

Last time I was in there a Drummonds store here in Adelaide still had a few in stock – can have a squiz for you if interested!? (think they stil had them at 25% off!)

After a particular model?

THanks nadg,
I called a couple of Drummond stores around Victoria today, and indeed they had a few in stock. I think I’ll just drop into the stores in person this weekend to check it out.

anyone know what a good price to pay for ogio grom stand bag in AUS will be?

Golfworks (before they got taken over by Drummonds) had the Ogio Grom for 199 delivered (free shipping) on their online website, and as low as 180 I believe right before they got taken over. I would say pay no more than that if possible…as you can likely see the markup once Drummond take over stock :P

Got my Grom for at least 6+months now and love it too :)
Did anyone see the 08 range from Ogio? Youtube Ogio pga show 08 and you’ll see some demonstrations of the new bag… not sure if someone on here mentioned previously? It rocks!

I bought an Ogio bag from Drummond on Elizabeth St on the weekend, but it was a Syncro, not a Grom—I was looking for one, but was told that all they had was the khaki one I bought and another black and green Syncro.

House of Golf on Flinders St didn’t seem to have any Ogio bags at all.

You could try giving the guys at Drummond Hoppers Crossing a call… I was in there on Sunday and thought I saw an Ogio bag on the shelf but not sure which model, sorry.

(I realise this doesn’t help much if you’re really after a stand bag, but I don’t know that there are many Ogio stand bags to be had at the moment.)

I know my handicap... it's my driving, my long irons, my short game and my putting.

campegg,
how much did u pay for ur synchro bag?

OccasionalGolfer: it was about $200. I got a bit of a discount because I’m a Drummond Club member (but not much, maybe $15).

I thought it was a pretty good deal for the price—everyone seems to speak highly of them and I couldn’t bring myself to spend more on a roughly equivalent TM, Cally or Ping bag.

I know my handicap... it's my driving, my long irons, my short game and my putting.
