Can’y try one and going cheap on web so tempting.

I just bought one off ebay, perhaps even the same auction you are watching! And you are correct, they are a bargain. All the online reviews I read were positive, so I took the leap. Also, it just happened to be everything I wanted in a putter – 33cm, centre shafted, mallet and heavy – I think it was meant to be!

Anyway, once it arrives (expecting it tomorrow), I’ll put it through its paces and report back if you like?

Well it took an eternity to arrive due to an unfortunate invoice dilemma, but it is here as of yesterday.

And it’s a pearler too.

As noted above, 33in, centre shaft, with a great feel during the swing, and on contact. The Beryllium Copper insert has a much more consistent feel to it than the urethane inserts in the White Hots.

It also aligns very easily, at least to my eyes. And after spending an hour or 2 on the practice green hitting all kinds of putts, including some off centre shots, I noticed the ball tracks predictably, with nice feedback. I immediately know if I’ve smashed or caressed it (and so do my playing partners). The ball didn’t seem to skip much after contact, but of course that is almost impossible to tell on our coarse greens and when you’re standing ~6’3” above the ball :)

these things are deadly only used the Original Model with red HSM insert. they are deadly from close range- it becomes abit more difficult to judge the feel for longer puts.
