Mixing Wood brands

As a follow up to my question on shaft types, what are peoples views on mixing brands in a set of woods. Is it ok to have 3 different brands for your driver, fairway wood and a utility club for example?

I cant see any problem with it.

Use what works for you, you’re not getting paid to use a particular brand, are you!!??

Exactly as psoul said, if three different brands work for you then do it.

Sure, and i totally agree. However (the inevitable however), i wont get a chance to demo very many clubs, and certainly none extensively, so as a general rule would it be advised, or is it very common to have all different brands?

Yes very common

I would advise to get best clubs for your game what ever the brand and at the right price for you. Not all brands will have the right gear for all golfers all the time I have Callaway FT-5 Fuji shaft
Flush it, chunk it, flush it, chip it, hole it 5 a half! |

From your other post the number adds up to 13 with a putter!!

i have snake eyes driver and 5 wood and a titeist 3 wood. Who cares. Just make sure you have shafts that suit you. No point having nice heads, but if you have a soft reg flex in 3 wood and X flex in 5 wood, you may have issues. Just find clubs you can hit well, who cares whether its a Cobra or a tour special, its what suits your game.
