Hi jj

I had the same problems. I ordered my stuff from Golfsmith in the states, grips, water active tape and a small rubber vise. Watch their video on changing grips and with the water activated tape it’s a breeze.

I use golf pride DD2 grips and they’re great. Soft enough for the arthritis and yet give good feed back.

I have rheumatiod arthritis in both hands, fingers and wrists and have experimented with various grip sizes and feel.
Whatever you do don’t go straight to oversize grips without trying various sizes on a single club. Also try exercises etc to increase flexibility and grip strength. Soft flexible grips do help.
I found full oversize grips caused my hands to cramp ( particularly left ) and sometimes ( not often thank goodness ) to sieze.
Releasing the club can also be a problem with oversize grips although the swing experts in the forums may be able to help with this.
Your grip flexibility and strength will definately decrease without exercise… see a good physio if you can.
Good luck and stay loose.

I forgot to mention, a really good exercise for fingers & grip is to place a shaft, right at the end of the grip, across the finger tips of your ( say ) left hand and then roll fingers around the shaft as far as you can, keeping the shaft in the fingers if you can ( not the palm ).
Don’t grip tight, just curl fingers as much as you can.
Great while watching TV.
Best wishes,
Baz

Nigel, good to see you back.

Are you coming down the coast for the iseekgolf classic?
