Club fitting specs from brand to brand

Hi all, so I got fitted up for some Mizunos, however I am leaning towards the titleist clubs which I am planning to order online. However seeing as they aren’t out yet I can’t be fit for them. Can I have my Mizuno specs placed onto the titleist clubs, or will my requirements change from brand to brand?

You can in a way. Each brand has different standards so if you are 2 degrees up in a mizuno you may not be 2 up in a titty. But if you get the specs of the mizuno’s you can specify exact lie angles for the titleists. That said, why buy something you have never hit?
down and out…did ya get that? |

Standard lengths and lie can change from company to company but can also change iron to iron from the same company in some cases. http://www.cobragolf.com.au... eg pro irons have slightly different lie angles.

So what I need is 1 upright with 1/2” longer in the Mizuno, their stock spec is, 37.25 long and lie of 61 The titleist meanwhile is 37.50” and 62.5... So running on what I have been told I will need 1/4” on the titleist and the lie angle is 1.5 higher in the titleist, does this mean it is pretty much spot on for me, or does it mean I need to go the other way and have it bent 2... My main question is, bending the club 1 upright on a club with a 62.5 lie, does that make it 63.5 or 61.5*? P.S. All of this is based on standard 6 iron measurements…

The Mizuno 6 iron would be 62 degrees after being bent. Also beleive each inch longer makes it 2 degrees upright. So the titleist stock should be very close given its half a degree more upright but 1/4 shorter than your modified mizunos. That said, toolish point holds some merit given the new irons are due here in 3 or 4 weeks.

Thanks very much for the help guys, now the only thing to work out is the swingweight differences between them all :)

Swingweights? You are moving onto another territory here.
