Does anyone know of any companies, where you buy older individual irons to replace a 7 iron I left on course a few weeks ago? Have tried eBay (Aus/US/UK) but nothing as yet Any assistance appreciated.

Have you had a look here, it may not be cheap shipping though. PT

Bad luck mate, I think it is only a small percentage of people that don’t hand things in.. What is the type of iron you are after?

Try 3balls golf on US ebay. They may be a goer….

I have a LH 7-iron if you want. Used to carry it in case I was wrong way up against a tree. Stupid idea!

I think people who dont hand in clubs to the pro shop especially on privately owned golf clubs are complete scums. I had this happen to me on one occasion and could not believe the scummiest of the members. Hard to judge a club by just a dodgy members, but thats what makes up a club.

It is quite difficult to replace a single individual iron, especially it is not new product line. Luckily someone gave me back my X20 sand wedge once I lost in course. Otherwise I got to flop out $ to replace it.

i was playing at the colonial at gold coast on holidays and went to play a flop shot and realised i left my lobby on the last hole went back and the group behind had it in their bag and wouldnt give it back until i told them what shaft was in it what brand it was what grip how much bounce when they gave it back to me they said they were going to hand it in but talk about the 3rd degree

Good point, I used to have 13 LH clubs for the shot then! And then a RH 7i for the others.

There’s why it might be best to always count your clubs at the 18th hole…...

If you ever put a club on the ground put your hat (or something you will miss immediately) on the ground with it, you’ll find that you won’t leave clubs behind again.

Any bum that keeps stuff they pick up on the course isn’t honest enough to play golf. I couldn’t imagine them calling a penalty on then selfs. My mates and I have found lots of good stuff from club covers, to a remote for an electric buggy and even a very expensive putter, and never once considered keeping anything. BattaBattaBing – can’t help with a 7 iron, but I have a T-Zoid Driver that’s surplus to requirements.

Yea I found an Odyssey White hot #3, proshop was closed for the day and clubhouse was locked, so I left a sign on the proshop door and handed it in the next day. Ended up it was a kid that I know well from the club. Guess it was righty too so it made it easier to give back :-D. Also found a pair of expensive sunnies that I handed in.

Not golf but my BIL and I were fishing from a jetty once and he realised he left his sunnies behind as we were packing the car. We went back and 3 guys had taken our spot and when asked they said “what sunnies not here mate”.... filthy scum.
