Hi Guys,

I need between 12 and 18 players that currently do not spend
more $30 a dozen on balls to test some new release Fantom
product for me.

Please email me at the info address on the Vision website.

Remember it needs to be players that don’t see the value
in spending the extra cash on up market designs
or more to the case need to work within a budget.

Those players that then let me know their thoughts will
get to try some new Vision balls when they are available
as a comparison.

Thanks again,
Boz.

I probably cannot help you this time Boz as I think I am out of your target market zone.

Cheapest ball I would consider using would be a Vision or an AD333 (heaps left over from ball comps!)

who needs driver when a 3 wood will do???

Hi Sid,

Your right.

This is more about the Noodle / Wilson 2 pce / Pinnacle and
generic Maxfli and Top-Flite ball type users and seeing if we
can get a ball that is acceptable in a two piece format.

I need you to help on the UV-X2 front. :-)

Hi Boz,
Like sid, I try to keep to the $40 per doz. Anything coming in that range?

Hi Boz,
Like Sid, I try to keep to the $40+ per doz price range. Anything coming in that range?
Gary

Hi Gaz,

Like Sid its better that you guys help on the UV-X2 balls.

It makes more sense as the information I can get from
you needs to be in line with your preferences.

This exercise is about trying to get a ball that fits the
value for money situation,as most balls currently sold
in Australia are bought for less than $30 per dozen.

From my research the Noodle range has been the big mover
over past few years, and most of those sales have been through
the large chain stores.

Hi Guys,

All the product was shipped last night.

Thanks for the interest,

Hi Boz, Any chance of a profile of these Fantom balls. I realise this may pre-empt some of the (objective!!??) comments, but if there is some background info it would help me.

Cheers Boz

Looking forward to giving these a crack.

Hey Boz, email sent.

Looking forward to trying these if possible.

thanks

David

You’re as nervous as a very small nun at a penguin shoot

Hi B2G,

This test is to get some idea of where the current balls fit
in relation to players perceptions. I have been working on
the FOCUS project for the past 5 months to address the
A$20 to A$30 retail area – US$15 to US$20 market.

The balls involved are of 2 and 3 piece construction with a
variation of materials, the packaging was put together for me
by Fantom, so there are a few interesting (funny) descriptions
on the packs.

Just remember I am learning all the time and I now write all
my own copy.:-)

Here is the overview of the different balls I have sent out.

Distance Pro – Twin Cover Multilayer – similar to the Arctic
White but the compression was bumped up a bit to 85/90
with HPF mantle and HPC cover. ( HX Hot type ball)
312 Dimples

Power Control – Twin Cover Multilayer – similar to the Distance
Pro but I tried a durable urethane cover for more spin but with
an aim to be like the E5. 432 Dimples Comp 90/95

Hi Soft – Two piece – Soft Surlyn cover and an oversized
extra soft core being similar to the Noodle / D2 Soft /
Wilson 50/50. 432 Dimples Comp 70/75

Power Distance / Tour432 – The tour name was a mistake as
it does not make any sense but,,,,, anyway this is traditional 2 pce
design with a hotter core formulation and lithium surlyn cover.
It is similar to the Pinnacle Exception/ Srixon Distance.
432 Dimples Comp 85/90

Thanks again for the help,
Boz.

PS TrueSalt and Spanky round out the current test group.

Hi Boz;

Thanks for the hat and tees as well, being colourblind the flouro yellow tees are a god send!
