Hey everyone, i am looking for a high class high quality Putter if anyone has some suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Scotty Cameron, But my personal fav. are Bettinardis- check out the black Mizuno Series…... Drool…..

Have a look at the rife putters I had a putt with a two bar that has a bendable hosel to customise the fit along with weight adjustment, Im savin my pennies for that one.

"the woods are full of long drivers"

i have always been fond of never compromise putters especially the milled series

Taylor Made Rossa series. I have the Monza Corsa which is great. There are different styles to match your preference.

Im drooling over all of these suggestions, thanks alot to everyone

Scotty is where the action is.

The studio select’s will be available to titleist account holders in April!

Ditto on the TM Monza Corsa, not sure if this is still in production tho. The equivalent is the “Tourismo” I think.

Have you looked at the Golf Digest Hot List? Way too many putters but still worth a look. 2008 Hot List Putters

Cheers.

Try the Yes! putters.

Ping but have it ftted – its pretty consumer brand, made in a factory on a prod line but I like the balance of the blade putters.

Bettinardi by Mizuno look topnotch as well… they also feel very balanced too.

Yes! putters are very popular too but look out for fakes on eBay plenty of them floating around!

Or consider some putting lessons if you are not draining them!

who needs driver when a 3 wood will do???

Don’t past the Scotty

Im an Odyssey fan…current favorite (have 2 spares in the shed)

is the XG 1 (white hot)

I also have dual force rossie and white steel dual force rossie 2

use the rossies in winter when the greens are slower as they are mallet putters

I use a Yes- Marilyn with a 2 thumb grip and find it gives a very true roll. (or is that me?)
used an Odyssey 2-ball before and found it difficult to line up the balls so i went for a line instead

never warmed to the 2 ball and 3 ball putters I think the direction they are going is trying cover poor technique..work on smooth stroke and you can put with anything

The Wilson Staff Kirk Currie putters are going for a song now that currie has been tossed by Wilson. The are adjustable at the hosel & have head & shaft weight adjustments. Pretty hard to beat IMHO.

Can anybody really explain to me the point in having a good quality putter. I have some cheapy brand I have never herd of- Bought for $13, but it seems to do the job. Never really tried a Ping or Scotty Cameron Odessey etc…

I have two Wilson Kirk Currie putters and I’m chanting at the bit to buy a third!..is there any hope for me!

I think there a class act without having to pay top price. I prefer a heavy putter, so I have one weighted up and the other a bit lighter.

Why don’t you try having one made for you, custom fitted ?
You can have a ball picking the head design and then go through the process to have it made to your specs.
Some really funky putter heads to choose from atm.
Nothing beats a one of a kind, original putter.

I was considering it but the costs seem too much, but ill try anything once!!! But seeing as there are so many head designs to choose from i would find it difficult to choose just one, maybe 4!!!

Flying, even with the better components it would be hard to spend more than $200. Using the process of elimination would be a start when trying to custom build a putter for yourself.
Yes we custom fit.

Scotty C’s are nice but big $$..?
looks like everyone on tour has one, with special mods too to suit the player.. I like the custom initials scotty personally puts on each pro’s putter… but does not need to bother with Adam Scott..
I like my oddessy blade.. old school, but gets the job done..
