Driver 14 deg square face angle 460cc 43.5 lenght 65 gram shaft. D6 swing wight. Avg drive 220-230 meters Strong 7 wood 21 degs 42.5 long, 80 gram shaft. 200m of the deck and tee. reason I needed a second wood I could hit off the deck and tee consistanly and I have a neg AOA. 27deg Hybrid/wood 41.5 long, TX 90 TT steel shaft. 180-190m off the deck. I find this club great for long par 4s helps me launch the ball high of the deck. Hybrid 24degs, 27degs and 31 degs, my hard to hit long iron replacements, these all standard iron lenghts with steel wood shafts, to help launch the ball higher and have great off center hit forgivness. 6i – Pw cav back fordge irons 52 deg, 56 deg and 60 deg wedges blade style. Gen full swing with 52 wedge 100- 80m 56 80-60m and chipping around the green and somtimes with longer sand shots. 60deg for lob and sand shots. This is just my set up and has taken me 2 years of building to get my set up right. Bad news is I’ve just cracked the crown on my driver head as of yesterday. It had been in the bag for over two years.

How do you find the srixon i506 irons? I have another set of these coming. I played them a while back and really loved the leading edge, just suited my contact with the ball. I am tempted to leave them in the wrappers and sell or store them away for a rainy day as I have too many sets at the moment.

yeah mickyboy they are great irons but i am getting the new i-701 tours in 2 weeks but i think i will keep my 506 irons as they are a sweet thing i know the srixon rep and he wants me to use the current product only but the 701 tour has the goods to be possibly the best players forged iron of 2008

Here’s todays bag. Bang Bang-o-matic 12º driver with Graman UL440 shaft R flex 45.5” Mac Burrows 3 wood with HTD CBS shaft. Best $10 3 wood I’ve hit. The head is tiny compared to some going around at the mo. Silver Diamond 19º Hybrid mated to a Graman CF300 shaft. 3-9 iron are Dynacast Purefit cavity jobbers with TM TK steel shafts. They cost me $41! + $25 for the TaylorMade shafts. That’s the set ..not each. Don’t laugh. F@#* they hit it high. That’s why I have to carry the 3 iron. PW is my Nak NP-1 as I broke the Dynacast one bending it last week. I said stop laughing. Gappie is a 54º Cleveland bent to 53º SW is a XDS Tour 56º bent to 58º Putter is Wilson Staff KCIV cut to 32” All shafts flo’d yada yada…. I’ll probably have new irons next week so maybe I’ll post another pic.

Driver – Bridgestone J33P 9.5. Aldila NV 65 R 45.5” Maybe too low in loft for someone with my swingspeed. However, it works consistently better than any other driver I’ve tried. 3 wood – MacGregor V foil 13* loft 43”. Again too low a loft. but it works. I have 2 other 15* 3 woods and the 13* works the best..go figure!! One could say none of them suit me..lol 5 wood- Mac Burrows 18* Fuji R shaft 42.5”, don’t really like it, however, it’s very consistent and I’d be better off improving me before replacing the club! Irons- work in progress:) Wedges- Cobra Greg Norman series 54/57/60 Mac Burrows 52/56/60 Putter- Wilson Staff Kirk Currie semi mallet, 35” Dint semi blade style putter 35”
