Hey guys, just a question. How many guys have their irons lengthened and if so by how much? Im 6ft 1 and mine are 1” over, but im seriously thinking about having them back to standard length.

For some reason when i got my clubs i got them 1” over. Just curious what every has….and how tall they are? i know height isnt the key, its wrist to floor measurement as a guide…just curious

Mizuno “standard” + 1/2 inch … got them staically and dynamically fitted …

I am also 6’1”.

I had my clubs lengthened by 1”.

I now seem to be hitting the ball a lot sweeter ( I didn’t say straighter) and not off the toe of the club.

Hey I’m 6’1” as well and my irons are an 1” over standard. There are also 2* upright. My wrist to floor measurement shows an inch over a standard 37.5” five iron. I think the lie is about right.

Normally someone my height should be able to use standard length clubs. However, I certainly like the extra length. I’m very broad in the shoulders and maybe that’s why my arms don’t hang down enough. I’m also fairly long in the legs. Anyway, I’m happy with the length and would only consider shortening my irons if I went to 3 or 4 * upright.

I hope this post doesen’t make the words break the barrier like my last one. I’ve emailed Admin and now lets cross my fingers:)

Thanks Wondyhill – you keep putting a space in front of the first word of some of your paragraphs and that causes the paragraph to be on one line. Just watch for that and you’ll be fine. Seems you do it on the 2nd paragraphs – fixed the ones here.
