Driver: Titleist 905R with UST ProForce V2 65 Stiff FW: TaylorMade V-Steel with UST ProForce V2 Fairway Stiff Hybrid: Srixon AD Hybrid Version 2 with Aldila NV85 Hybrid Stiff or ACCRA Tour HF M4 Irons: Callaway X-Forged with True Temper Dynamic Gold S300. 6 Iron @ 38 Inches and cut to .4” increments Wedges: Callaway X-Tour 52-08 and Callaway X-Tour 58-11. Both Vintage Coked with True Temper Dynamic Gold S300. Putter: Rossa Monza Corza with ASGI. the Irons are brand new, just played a few games with them, and the feel is just as good as the Srixon I-506 they replace. to me, they are probably the best looking iron on the market and are fantastic to hit with. just ordered from Japan the Rossa Monza Corza with ASGI+. you can only get the corzina or the Inza/Turismo in australia and i love the Monza shape and the black finish with the ASGI+ will be excellent.

Yes HISPL – we have a problem. Seriously though, with all the different claims manufacturers make about drivers, what sort of variations do you find between all these bad boys, assuming your swing is reasonably consistent…?
Reverse every natural instinct you have and do just the opposite of what you are inclined to do and you will probably come very close to having a perfect golf swing. - BEN HOGAN, POWER GOLF |

To be honnest I actually find there is a big difference between some of the drivers that I have had, I had a Superquad that was a lower loft than my Bridgestone drivers and with the same shaft it launched WAY WAY higher (too high) so I got rid of it, I’m yet to hit the Burner the Adams Comp or the R580XD Tour (I should be able to on the weekend) I’m just searching for what works, the Bridgestone with the Accuflex is awefully close I just need to launch it a couple of degrees higher and spin it less… which is what the Burner should do ;) I have my good and then very very bad days with my swing it seems to be great or very bad… part of the problem lies with only playing a couple of times a month at the moment, I should play a little more in the future as I am in the process of changing clubs to something a little closer to home.

Not all of us are “club junkines”!!! Driver: Titleist 905R (2 weeks old – replaced Calloway X 460) 3 Wood: Titleist 906R (I think!) Hybrid: Calloway something! Irons: 3-w : Titleist 775 CB (replaced Precept Tour Edition 2 weeks ago) SW: Precept Tour edition Putter: Nike Having used Precept for about 15 years, I was OS in May and had to use a rental set. I tried both the Calloway X forged irons and the Titleist – guess which ones I liked the best! My bad drives with the Calloway used to be big horrible slices – and the club sounded “tinny”. Since I changed the the Titleist I haven’t even hit a single fade – everything that misses is going left, and the sound and feel is just so much better.

I’m finding a 9.5 Bridgestone J33P (375cc) is giving me the best launch angle and distance of all the drivers I’ve tried. I’ll admit I haven’t tried a huge cross section of drivers. Although they’ve been tested properly over a reasonable period of time. The shaft in the J33P is a stock Adila NV green, and without being profiled for me it works fine.
