What are advantages and disadvantes of oversized irons..?

Oversized irons cav backs have more COG MOI Offset etc more forgiving on off center hits.But tend to look like sh#% next to player irons. This is just a basic answer I hope this helps.

Hi matt, in my opinion, oversize irons are a lot more forgiving and have a bigger sweet spot ! When u mishit the ball it goes further than say for example a blade iron. oversize are made for the mid to high handicapper. cheers Brownboygolfer!
