New Set

Hey Guys,

I am new here and would like your opinion.

I am getting my first set of clubs soon, and I am really keen on Cleveland clubs. There is only so much I can read about clubs and I want to know what you would recommend for me.

I have only started playing about 2 months ago, and my handicap is 21.

Also, does anyone know where I could get Cleveland clubs for a good price?

Cheers.

What your going to have to do if you haven't already is get out and hit them. Hit a variety and see where your Cleveland brand stands. You may be surprised and you may not but you got to try before you buy. Look up demo days on websites and attend.

Good luck, everyone has gone through this stage.

Hi
RockBottom Golf in the USA sells some Cleveland stuff.
They are very cheap, and very reliable.

I use RBG a lot they are really safe to use.
Cheers John

Thanks for your help guys.

Does anyone know where I can get a hold of Adams clubs in Melbourne?

Cheers

You can probably get all the gear you need at the web link you going to give us next. wink.gif

I believe he's saying that you're a shill, here to promote a commercial website, by asking for a lead on gear, and then will be coming back with another post saying something like:

"Hey guys, I found a really cheap set, and a load of other crrrrazy bargains, right here at blahblah.com!!!"

But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Welcome to the forum, and if you're after cheap Clevelands, Golfworks (www.golfworks.com.au, I think) is selling Launcher LP irons for $399 a set, which is about as cheap as I've seen them. Otherwise, keep an eye out here and on evilbay and you'll find some for sale.

Oh nah this is genuine. I am thinking of buying Adams online, but I would like to try them first, but Drummond and House of Golf don't seem to stock them (unless their websites aren't up to date). I obviously want to try them out first, but don't know where.

I am ok with Cleveland now, as I know where to get them and where I can try them.

Beware of cheap imitations - Especially from the US

Try emailing/calling Cleveland's local dealer and asking them about stockists and demo days.

In NSW there's a free monthly magazine call The Golfer which lists the location of Taylor Made, Ping and Cleveland (maybe some other brands too) demos days.

Feel free to post away - you may very well be answering somebody else's questions or helping somebody else make a decision.

Brosnan Golf is the distributor for both Nike and Adams eqiopment. Find a Nike demo day - and there are heaps of them at the moment - and Adams gear will be there too. Contact Brosnan for dates and locations.

I was quoted at $1700 for 4-SW Cleveland CG4 Irons (steel), Cleveland HiBore Hybrid and a Callaway 454 Big Bertha Driver both graphite.

Seems a lot to me.

What should I look to pay for these?
