Best driver on ebay for $250

Hello all...long time no posts (been busy breaking in the new Lady Colonel).

Anyhow, I'm looking to upgrade my driver and have about $250 (or a little bit less) to spend on ebay. What is the best bang for my buck at that price?

Cheerio

Colonel.

Cleveland Hi bore if there are any that cheap.

905R about that price

I would recommend the Hibore. You should be able to pick it up around $250, failing that you can get them for about A$240-250 shipped from some US Ebay sellers like rockbottomgolf.

All that being said, it totally depends on what you are comfortable with. A lot of ppl rave about the Hibore while some ppl hate it.

The superceded Nike SQ might fit in the budget too.

I think discountgolf.com in the US have the Nike SQ for $199 USD (~$250) but think they are about $60 postage...

Other than that, HiBore as mentioned above.

Taylormade R5?

Titliest 905 T/S (demo model most likely)

You might be able to pick up a Geek DCT... the Yanks rant and rave over them.

I just picked up an R7 460 , never been hit, still in plastic, shipped from US for $270.

Ping G5 Drivers are close to that price 2nd hand also.

pretty much all of the drivers bar the top end and new models can be had for that price

hi bore, R7's and so on...r5's even Callaway ft3 and so on

put in a price limit on the left hand column, this will list all of the drivers up to a certain point...makes it easy...also look for drivers that end late at night...less real bidders around

I just collected a callaway x460 & Fusion from OS, Shipped to my front door in 7 days for less than $200 each. I can hear your alarm bells ringing, and yes I was originally concerned about the price but these things are spot on. Send me a PM if you are interested further.

Cheers
Rustific

I bought one from the US Rockbottomgolf ebay seller and it came to around $240 delivered wink.gif

Ping G2 is the money mate, you'll find one in your preferred loft and flex without looking too long i think. Just remember Ping understated their actual loft. I have no probs getting the ball in the air and a 10° was a wee high. Perfect for anyone looking for an easy to get in the air loft ho. The G2 is hot off the face, straight and forgiving.

If you're fast you still might be able to find a MAC Powersphere for around US$30 +shipping with the stock Fuji made shaft. Silly money for a pretty decent driver.

I'd put one up against any of the other drivers mentioned in this topic.
The fairway woods look heaps like the Titleist too. They sit flush as address.

Bought a TaylorMade r5 Draw from finditheregolf for under $200 delivered. Great club for a bad golfer like me.

You should be able to pick up a new Hi-Bore with an Aldila shaft for that price. I have even noticed some on the Oz eBay listings.
