Club fitting in Melbourne

Hi Guys, I was chatting to a few of the guys on the weekend and they have mentioned how much of a difference that a total club fitting process will help with my game. They mentioned a guy off here that is in Melbourne (I think his name might be Ben as well) that was the guy to see about it. I'm going to be in Melbourne Tuesday to Thursday this week for work and I was hoping to try and fit in some time to see him if I could. Does anyone have his contact details and a quick overview on the kind of thing that he does? Cheers Ben

Thanks Dan. I'll have a look over the website and then give them a call to see where they are in relation to the city and what the costs are. Cheers for the speedy reply.

By the Way - the same fella runs the internet based Golf Components Australia. His shopfront fitting business deals mainly in top end major brand equipment, but the better component brands, such as SMT and Accuflex are well worth considering.

I went, I saw, I am a believer. Just wanted to say thanks heaps to Ben for fitting me in yesterday for a club fit. All the advice and knowledge that he has and passed onto me was invaluable and I'll be working on a few things for my swing and then getting back down to Melbourne to have a few changes made. I'd highly recommend anyone going to see ben to make the best of their talents!

Welcome new one. Your new Believer name is ... Benny Believer.
I went to Ben 2 years ago. Stuffed me up completely, I can't
do a thing without asking Ben first.

Holy crap, what a thread. It gets hard at times to accept that
these posts are not blatant ads.
I find it difficult to believe that someone with over 50 posts on
this forum has no idea who Ben is, extremely difficult. Even if
you don't it is very easy to use the search function and find
the many other threads where we have the "newbie forummer
politely asking who to see in Melbourne".

Ben's not a PGA pro - but after fitting stacks of very good amateur golfers - I think he's picked up a thing or too.

You might just want to check what the advice was before immediately jumping to conclusions. For example, maybe Benny swings like a wounded octopus and isn't consistent enough to benefit from a fitting or he might even have some major movement/technical issue that needs to be ironed out before a fitting can be worthwhile. Giving that sort of feedback to a customer doesn't instantly mean that Ben is holding himself out to be a Pro - PGA or otherwise.
Beware of cheap imitations - Especially from the US |

Let's just say it's not pretty at the moment.
