does anyone know?

I've really only used Taylormade wedges for the last few years but here is what I would considder to be a short list of wedges to try.

Taylormade TP, Callaway X tour and Titleist Bob Vokey Spin Milled.

There are a lot of good wedges on the market, see if you can try before you buy. smile.gif

the one that is correctly fitted

no.. its the shineist!

I've found the Nak NP-1s and Cleveland CG10s to be quite good.

a man cannot argue with pure logic like that. sorry for doubting you Jack.

Can't go too wrong with clevelands.

The one that gets you the best results.

Beside guru on the range ....

I'm quite happy with McCains, although they could do with some sour cream.

Local greek shop does great wedges...nice and spicey!

Tried all that have been mentioned, and IMO the MIZUNO MP-T RAW HAZE is far and away the most suited to my game. Also worth a mention is SNAKE EYES FORGED.

Having said that, everyone is different and not all may like or be suited to what I like. Very subjective topic.

I'm in love with my Mizuno wedges at the moment. I have 2x MP T Raw Black Ox. They are pretty rusty at the moment but I'm loving them.

Heaps of good wedges on the market. Just make sure you get the right wedge to suit the conditions.

Rac TP. Great wedge but not forged.

Vokey. I found them a little heavy.

Cleveland - I really liked the feel of the CG10 and heaps of options for varying bounce.

That would be my top 3!

cg10 whore here.. well not really a whore but yeh.

on a side note, has anyone tried eating potato wedges with sourcream thats infused/mixed with sweet chilli sauce ?

For a general degree, I have a 56° and it has been great. Its a Cally Forged+ if that means anything to you. I got it used for quite cheap. To match, its pretty much the same club as the Cleveland wedges, just a lower price.

What do you see yourself using the wedge for most? Chipping, bunkers, approaches? I find my sandy spins too much for chips..

The wedges in my bag are a Vokey and a Wishon, and I'd say the Wishon is clearly the better one of the two. Before you shell out megabucks on another brand, check them out.

My cleveland works ok for me

Put my vote in the for the Ping Tour series, just spent a fair bit of time researching from US chat rooms etc and the guys in the local Golf Works confirm the Ping Tour is the hot wedge at the moment. Work colleague who happens to be Senior Mens pennants captain in one of the largest clubs in Brisbane used my 60 deg Ping whilst we were mucking around on practice greens the other day and then abused for the lost confidence he now has with his Cleve 588. ohmy.gif

Cleveland 900's are the best I've used, but not for everyone...I should've bought two of each in case something happens to these one's.

McCain Hot Bandito Chilli wedges with a mix of Mozzarella & tasty cheese melted on top...mmmmmmmmm

"I hate the lob wedge club"

also worth a mention is SNAKE EYES FORGED.

i used to have a snake eyes forged lob wedge before it got stolen from the club. Now i've got a vokey spin milled and that seems to do the job.

Check out Horsepower Golf on the web.

Primarily a long drive supplier, but his component wedges are developing a cult following.

SMT Durometers seem to get good raves on US boards.
