Blister tip

Due to socks slipping I developed blisters on the back of my heel. I recall a sports store salesman telling my wife, who constantly gets blisters from joggers, to put Vaseline on your socks. Apparently a runner tip. The Vaseline provides lubricant that stops the friction that causes, and in my case, irritates blisters.

Or just put a bandaid on before you get a problem.

AB has plenty of Vas OB, so he might as well use some to avoid chafing…..apparently Stink also has a lot of Vas laying around

Vas is the go to stop blisters. It comes in handy for people like myself who have an allergic reaction to bandaids.

prevention if a shoe fits properly it wont blister shoes slightly too big will blister, as we know blistering is casued by heat from friction for instance I need shoes with deep heel cups (pumas and FJ) also use cotton socks only (no polyester in them) as polyester heats more easily
Golf is only a game…Yeah right who are you kidding? |

Never had a blister playing golf therefore my cupboard is full of Vaso…... be great if I could find another use for it :)

Wouldn’t it just feel like your walking around with wet socks??
grooveless, the only way to play golf…… now a ’groove-snob’, and never going back!! :) |

I’ve never had blisters from new golf shoes but always had FJ’s. I bought a pair of Adidas recently and didn’t blister on the first wear. 2nd wear I wore loose socks and blistered on the right heal. It ‘healed’ a bit :) by the next game and I wore tight fitting socks. No issue this time. Vas is a good tip to know though so I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks.

I heard you can use it as an aid for sex… You coat the bedroom door handle in the stuff and the little kids can’t get in to disturb you

I think the shoe has to fit correctly in the first place you will not have a problem. Regardless of whether you’ve paid a squillion bucks for your shoes or not, it’s whether it fits your foot or not that will cause the blisters
