Is anybody gaming these? Is there much improvement over the TP5?

Not yet, but, I am a TM whore, so as soon as I buy up all the cheap TP5”s and the price comes down I’ll be into em.

Won some balls in comp, usually play Bridgestone 330-RX, but Pro Shop doesn’t stock them, so he said try the Lethals.

Driver: great soft feel and an extra 10-15m
Irons: getting an extra club, surprisingly get more out of 6-PW, all stop nice and drop dead. Have to re-calibrate my distances….damn! LOL!!
Wedges: great feel and don’t roll out as much as the 330’s. I don’t get much back spin, so no comment
Putter: really nice feel

Bagged them and see ya later 330’s

I was VERY pleasantly surprised.

I believe GPJ_Longdriver has been trialing them and quite likes them.

People already love the TP5, is the Lethal a big noticeable improvement or just a subtle tweak on any already proven product?

I’ve been using the lethals for a week or so, and find them to be just a slight difference with the former TP5 penta’s which I’d used for a couple of weeks prior to changing over.

CGO no longer had the penta’s in stock when I went to get some supplies, so I got the a dozen of the Lethals instead

I think they (Lethals) seem to land just a touch softer on the greens. For a short iron in or wedge, I reckon the Lethal’s pull up just a touch quicker on landing, usally for me, within 1-2m at most, whereas the penta’s took just a touch longer to sit down.

Off the tee though, and they feel pretty much the same as the penta’s, same distance etc for me.

Unlike Stix above …... I haven’t noticed any real change in distance in going from the penta’s to the Lethals … just my usual distances.

The lethals are a very good drop and stop ball though, but I’d put the change as just a “tweak”, from what I’ve found to date.

Gday guys….been away a bit….good to be back.

Just on the TM Lethals, I have chucked them into my bag and I really like them.

However I was having a chat to my Pro and he says according to the rep that they are infact exactly the same balls as the Pentas, just rebranded.

Just before the release of of the Lethal he was running out of Pentas for sale so he wanted to place an order….rang the rep to fill order and got this as a response… dont get the Pentas wait a couple of weeks for the Lethal to be released, mate it is the same bloody ball!

Having said that I am loving gaming the Lethal. Probably suits me seing that it is my nickname as well :)

The harder I swing, the wider I go!

The one thing I am noticing between the Lethal and the TP5 is the control on stopping on the green. I would often hit a nice shot with the TP5 and watch it suck back 5 + metres and end up off the green.

Now I feel confident that if I can get it pin high it will stop quickly without a lot of spin.
