What sunglasses do you own how good are they with glare and how they let you see the ball

not worried about price as i know ya can spend a good fortune while some prefer cheap

but what do you look for in a set of glasses for your golf

cheers

I currently have Sundog brand glasses. They’re made for golf and one thing I had never noticed before using them is some designs are no good for looking down at the ball.
I’d suggest finding a pair you like and then look down as if you were going to play a shot. I think it’s a overlooked feature.

prescription?

I have a set of Rudi Project, which are actually cycling glasses.
Removable tint lenses (I have an 82% grey, a golf green and a golf orange). The prescription is a clip-in holder that can have scrip lenses changed, as necessary.

Other brands manage scrips indifferent ways – Oakley, for example, cut a circle out of the tinted portion and insert the script-cut lens at the same colour of the lens.

Non script? wow, how many spots on a dog? SunDog, I hear, are pretty good, but Oakley, Adidas, Rudi, are only three of the big brands

You have to get something that fits (der!) and something that manages the corner of the yes. Go try ‘em out…and enjoy the ride to discovery.

I love my new Oakleys. The interchangeable lenses (Green and Orange) are fantastic…..luv em.

Must be comfortable and good fit. No slipping or moving, fits snugly without pinching.

I wear them on sunny days obviously so I generally go for something with a darker tint, and due to wearing prescription glasses, they need to accommodate for scripted lens. I have a pair of Oakley wire frames about 5 years old now and still going strong. I’ve had a play with the Oakley made for golf lens and they are better for hazy, overcast days but let too much light through on brighter days. I don’t like having to squint through my sunglasses.

Steer clear of polarized lens as it interferes with green reading, plays with your depth perception. Great for is hong but not so good for reading breaks.

I have a set of Bolle.
The range is called V3 Golf here or EagleVision 2 overseas.
The model I have is called Draft.
There are about 6 different models to choose from in the range.
Extremely comfortable, lightweight and great when trying to follow the ball in the air and looking around the putting green.
Look for the these features in any set.

I’ve got a set of the Adidas Adivista

I originally went looking for the Oakley Fast Jackets which everyone recommended but I preferred how the Adidas ones felt and looked on my head. Great adjustable features plus one feature i liked where they will fall apart if any pressure is put on them, rather than break.

Worth checking out in my opinion – i paid $250 for them just from the Adidas shop, but you could probably get them cheaper if you ordered online.

OZ, have a set of the Half jacket Golf Array from Oakley, they fit well and came with 3 sets of lenses, G30 golf specific, A low light version and Firestone which are for igh glare days, good part was I got Oakly to do my prescription of the glasses directly bad part they cost me a alot, but I can definitely recommend them.
