Adjustable Drivers

Hi all, it’s time to upgrade my driver and I’d like to go with an adjustable. Been reading some great stuff about the Titleist drivers and would love a new 913 but budget is a bit tight so am leaning towards trying to find a runout 910 D2. Anyone have a) advice on the best place to pick one up and b) on the 910 vs the 913 (or other adjustables)? Cheers, Sam.

I agree with dave. I have a 910d3 that I bought when they were released and when I tried the newer version there was absolutely no difference except for looks. The D2 on the other hand has been improved a little bit from most reports specifically reducing spin and changing the sound. In the end I would find a 910 and put a better shaft in it but getting fit would be the key by a professional club fitter. I think you’ll get more value out of it like that.

Stock shaft options in the 910 are quite adequate. Especially if money is an issue. Should be able to find them under 300 I would think. I vaguely remember seeing them a bit over 300 at a Drummond and thinking it was maybe a little bit much.

Check out the USA sellers. 3balls, globalgolf. 910 around $160 – $200, plus $45 postage.
Handicap, I’m working on it. – Edit: Feb 2013 still, working on it. |

Thanks guys, popped into Drummond tonight and they have one 910 D2 left in a stiff which is perfect. Sticker price was $350 but would do it for $325. Does this sound reasonable? Will definitely check out those US websites too. Thanks. Sam.

Are you guys tripping? I sold my 910d2 with aftermarket shaft for 150.

the 910 is good value simply because the 913 is not an advance in terms of performance I have stood on the range side by side with almost identical shafts the 910 is a better driver IMO, for one reason only – miss hits went better… yep go usa ebay is you want to save cash or local I would bargain down on the the 325 offer 250 I have often bargained with pro shops…
