5 wood shafts

I have a RBZ 5 wood but it has a broken Econ 7 stiff shaft. I want to put a regular shaft in it. Should I go for the factory shaft? Not sure what they are called. Or should I go for a aftermarket shaft? Even a second hand shaft would do.

Tnup, you could spend $50/100 on a second hand shaft or from a $100 up for a new shaft. If you pick from Graphite Design, Matrix, Fujikura, Miyasaki or Mitsubishi it will be in the $300 plus range for their quality gear. Lots to choose from and you can be quite discerning about how the shaft can help your ball flight.

Do a bit of research on the Excalibur shaft from Golfworks. Have one in my G15 5 wood and I am very happy! Cheap too! Cheers,

I forgot about them. I’ll drop past there this week. Was thinking Boyles golf shed but that guy is a tosser and don’t realt want to deal with him.

I got a quote for a graghalloy blue. $100 fitted. The guy reckons the shafts worth $150. Not sure if it’s a good deal or not. These shafts are selling on eBay for around $40

I’ll do it properly for $99, once only offer because tomorrow it might be more – $99.50
