Looking to buy a stand bag $100ish budget.

Any thoughts on these two?

Priority is weight and clubs being protected.

i have an eagles and birdies stand bag. I like them for the full length dividers. i just sold one for $70.
Titliest do full length as well as sun mountain.
Bags that dont have them are a pain in the ass to get the irons in and out.
I have seen the seve bags up close, much nicer than that cleveland thing

I agree the Seve would be better. For that price you can’t really go wrong. I have an Ogio which is awesome but more than the $100 budget. They have the “Woode” system which I feel gives better head protection than the 14 way because they’re sitting together rather than clanging. If your carting every now and then, the 14way would be good.

The second is my bag. One thing to be sure to check is the leg mechanism, how it attaches to the bag and how it “pops” out.

When it comes to weight, I’ve found I can fit more in mine than I can in my Titleist staff bag so weight will be up to the user… Always good to do a stocktake when your lugging your bag around :)

I have a burton stand bag and I hate it. The legs are always coming out of the shock. Its a bit heavy. Worst is the straps which have these little bumps which are irritating.

Here was another that is kinda within the price range. About the same as the other two in price.

So of the other 2 the Seve is better? The reviews of the Cleveland were quite positive (or at least the previous models).

I have never seen any MD stuff in the flesh. Only have UK online magazines as a basis that they are supposed to be decent value equipment.

The Callaway looks like a good choice. However, the golf clearance outlet are generally very good people to deal with if any problems should arise with the seve.

I’ll point out though that choosing a stand bag can be a little like russian roulette compared to other types of golf bags. Whats good for some, others find irritating. If you can, always try and test-carry them loaded up and test the essentials that concern you..

Thought this one was a good deal too. Kinda tossing up between it and the Callaway. The Cal has a better bottom and I can get it in a nicer colour (black). The Taylor is lighter and has the little handle at the top.

Help me make up my mind!

id go the taylor made
full length dividers are the bomb
now grow some and buy some thing

I am afraid I can’t afford to make the wrong decision.

I think no matter what decision you make, at least one thing is going to annoy you and you can’t escape that with stand bags. There’s so many variables to consider. I’m with kiwi, just dive in to what drives your fancy. Toss a coin if you have to.

Think about it this way. It’s the price of about 3-4 rounds of golf. Skip a few weeks of playing. :)

There are out of your budget new, but the ping hoofers are awesome. They also have an integrated legs system so I will sit flat on golf buggies.

Put out a wanted ad, guys where sell second hand ones for about $50-90.

That won’t help
The bear can’t make a decision with the ones he is looking at now

I am leaning towards the Taylormade cause its a bit lighter and like the little handle at the top, but like the Callaway top better. Makes it a bit hard to decide when they are so close.

I might throw up a few more eBay links in the right price range to see if the bear implodes through shear weight of indecision

For the purposes of the said bet, how is the said nut proposed to be removed? Tin snips, rusty hacksaw blade, or by slamming in car door? Do tell …

Method of removal of nut is a moot point
It will be staying right where it is
