Looking at stuff on the bay, other than aesthetics is there any reason to be concerned about normal wear and tear scratches (not gouges) on the face of hybrids and woods ?

Unavoidable and not anything to worry about I’d say

The question reminds me of that old show “Kingswood Country” and Ted Bulpitt cleaning the dipstick of his Kingswood.

The reason I ask is everyone on here seems to be desperate to see photos of stuff in the classifieds and I wondered if there was some issue I was unaware of. It seems TTR is on the money

Grab a cheap angle grinder grab a buffing wheel and some a buffing block (white one from bunnings) grab some magic scrubber – its cleaner that white and is great fr cleaning rust of things….its a scrubber but takes off fine rust – almost like a very fine sand paper ok clean the club face with warm water and the scrubber – it will get the tiny rust spots off dry it – turn on the buffing wheel and use the block on the buffing wheel this is like ashine and polish in one 30 seconds on the face – dont go too hard as it can remove the chrome – it will leave a blackish mark on the silver – grab a cly clean rag and ploiush it back you can get some pretty scrubby faces looking smicko in no time I also use some brasso to finsih also – jusy go easy with it…...
