Has anyone been to see what the spectacular price Pro V1’s are being sold for this weekend? I have to wait till tomorrow, but I would be surprised if it was below $40.

Is that the Drummond sale you’re talking about?

Probably.

Hamersley has a sign out front of their dinky little pro shop saying “Only $62/dozen., special!” I wonder what price they normally sell them for if $62 is special??

I had emails from Golfworld and Drummond claiming an amazing deal on the balls and you can only get two dozen. The Outlet Centre at the Gabba has been selling them for $55 for a while now.

IMO prices like that really are a joke given the discounted Pentas that are on the market.

$45 a doz @ Golf Mart for the 2011 balls. The 2013 balls are $47 a doz in the US on Golfsmith.

Not sure if I am a TM ho or a Titleist ho

Some people just have to have the ProV I guess. I find plenty of them in the rough :-)

Funny you say that, the supposed “better” players ball is often the most found ball by guys in my regular playing group, and a couple of these guy are very wayward at times.

Golf Clearance Outlet $48.85/dozen. I know you have to pay $11 postage, but, I buy a bit off them and they always include a voucher card for $10 off as long as you spend $50. Buy a cheap item to go with the Pro V’s and you will still be ahead of most shops.

Speaking of this, I found a Pro V1 in the right bush of a par 3 today. I promptly hit it and sliced it (lost, didn’t bother looking too hard) into the right rough myself on the next tee :-D Felt nice and soft as it sailed off never to be seen again….
