I turned 40 recently and received a few golf vouchers that i am thinking on spending on golf shoes. Would like to hear from others on the comfort of the TW Golf shoe. I find my current golf shoes (FJ) after 18 holes walking the course really hurt my feet!

Try the ecco streets, not premieres. Much different sole in the street. I discovered that too late :(
There’s many a slip ’tween a cup and a lip. |

They are phenomenal shoes. I got a pair for Xmas and they are without doubt the best golf shoes I have ever worn. They do feel stiff when brand new but after 2-3 rounds they soften up. I used to wear Adidas tours then went to FJ Street for a season, great at first but really hard on the legs after a while. Getting into the TW13’s was amazing. I think i mentioned it elsewhere but you feel completely anchored to the ground when swinging, very solid and stable. They’re not leather but a synthetic waterproof type material. I have heard people complain about the tongue being too long but I use ankle socks and it doesn’t rub on me.. Fashion wise each to their own but I think they look good. I have them in black.

I’ve commented about these in another thread. Have tried them on. Didn’t find them that comfortable and the top of the high tongue irritated the front of my ankle. I found the Nike Lunar Controls to be the most comfortable shoe yet. The superseded model is a great bargain at the moment. My .02

I got a pair off my soon to be wife for Christmas. The nike lunar control are fantastic at first the green on the bottom was a bit bright for me although I believe you can get them in different colours. After the first few rounds I just love them and would recommend them. My mrs got them from rebel although my mate works at golf mart up the coast the price rebel had them for was $70 less than leading golf shops! Make sure you shop around don’t get them from the first shop of see.

My nike air zooms are still going strong 3 years on and look like lasting a while yet, just soft spikes getting replaced when worn and a good wipe down after each game keeps them in good nick and as a majority of my golf games early morning a small amount of morning dew not an issue.Possibly my most comfortable shoes in the wardrobe.
