Interesting, Rory’s (temporarily?) ditched the Nike putter already:

M, I don’t think McIlroy is thinking about his putter at the moment. According to his FB page right now he’s shacked up in this room with Wozniacki.

It doesn’t matter that he’s changed to Nike in particular (and I use Nike clubs). He could have changed to any brand and the point would be the same: changing every club in your bag in the year after you have established yourself as world number one just doesn’t make sense…unless it is just about the money.

I think Rory switched for the money and nothing else, and it would appear that we agree on that point.
