910 is a beauty too mate, don’t make the mistake of getting a 913. Fits are crackers tho

Razr Fit Extreme 8.5 with Aldila Trinity 65 X stiff
RBZ 15
3 Wood
RBZ 19* 5 wood
Titleist 710 AP2’s 4-PW
Vokey 50, 56, 60 Red Saw Oil Can
Scotty Cameron Squareback #2

There is a difference in the razr fit from the xtreme…

Agree 910 and 913 are very similar..Not a bad thing by any means but not a leap ahead in performance.

Maybe not for an ordinary golfer, there is a very real difference with the expert golfer if the club is setup for that player in the 913 driver and more so with the 913 fairway woods. I don’t know of any Titty sponsored players who would return to their 910 after being fitted for and having the 913 experience.

I play mostly Cally clubs but I have to say that my experience with the 913 and watching one in action in expert hands, impressed me greatly.

Totally ignorant about almost everything except golf.

Lee Westwood was still recently using a G10 – Not sure if thats still the case but he was a month ago!

They will often use the stock shaft for TV – its painted the same as the stock shaft but it’s more than likely a upgraded shaft with stock graphics – this is common. I know TM do this all of the time.

The 910 was a leap ahead from the 909

but 910 and 913 …very close, I have hot both, I like the 910 I think it was more forgiving but felt the 913 was slightly longer

on mishits is what I judge a driver on….what is it like on mishits as we dont hit the middle n every shot

910 is better!

razr fit Xtreme v 913….each to their own

Im in the Xtreme camp but the 913 is by no means a bad driver at all

Golf is only a game…Yeah right who are you kidding?

We had a Cally day at Wanny today so I got the opportunity to test the Extreme. It is a solid driver, by that I mean contact feels really solid, heavy almost. The ball comes of with practically no spin, with my swing, as evidenced by the flight. (My numbers with the TM burner last year were 2460 rpm and 1.49 sf.) It is an impressive driver, no doubt about that.

Totally ignorant about almost everything except golf.

low spin is an amazing stat on clubs especially drivers that so underated

once you discover a low spin set up you wont go back

The Razr Fit Xtreme driver look odd when you hit the ball as it doesnt launch as high as most drivers – yet it just keeps going forward with little sideways movement

Golf is only a game…Yeah right who are you kidding?

913’s are crap, I’ve had 3 & let them go, about 10 of my mates have had one & they have all let them go. My mates hcp’s range from +2 – 9. Go & ask people in golf stores & they’ll tell you the 913 has been a massive disappointment. They look great & no doubt perform for some but something is wrong when 11 people, myself included find the 910 a better head.

The 910 was more forgiving!

but man its no Razr fit Xtreme

Its spin rate was allot higher for me and I tried 3 or 4 shafts and lofts and various settings…it wasnt bad bad…it just wasnt an improvement from last years model

the razr fit Xtreme has gone the other way, smaller head, better shaft, moved the weight port too

they also moved the weight inside the head forward not low and back….its created a head that launches lower but still a lovely height

Low and behold they have created a beast of a thing that doesnt spin

If youre a chronic slicer give the Fit Xtreme a go

Golf is only a game…Yeah right who are you kidding?

My two cents:

Went out on the course yesterday, with a 913 D2 (Diamana Ahina stiff shaft; 9.5 degrees; neutral face) and a Razr Fit Xtreme (I think it was the Aldila Trinity stiff shaft, or it could have been a RIP Phenom stiff; 9.5 degrees. open face).

I am a high handicapper (22), but can hit a fairly straight drive. Both drivers look like classic clubs (as opposed to TaylorMade R1), with the Razr Fit Xtreme head noticeably smaller at address.

The 913 D2 felt “hotter” off the face, and seemed more workable. As a result there is a potential for greater hooks and slices.
The Razr Fit Xtreme felt duller off the face, but more forgiving – drives were straighter.

On most holes, I hit both drivers (each with a new Titleist Pro V1 or a Nike Mojo ball – same type of ball for each driver). Razr Fit Xtreme has consistently 5 or more metres longer than the 913 D2, even when I though I had bombed the 913 D2. Best distances on a wet course on the Gold Coast (no run) was 216m with 913 D2 and 221 with Razr Fit Xtreme.

Although this is not scientific by any means, I hope it helps anyone wanting to compare the two – I am still in a quandry though, as neither driver made me feel as if they were special. I did not feel as if I wanted to go out and buy either one.

What are you currently using.

Golf is only a game…Yeah right who are you kidding?

I have been using a Nike Sasquatch SuMo2 (10.5 degree regular shaft) for the past 7 years or so – can get between 230m and 250m with a decent drive. A recent golf lesson and club fitting has confirmed that I have outgrown it – my swing speed is between 100 and 105 so I need a stiff shaft. Itching to get that new driver that will last a while.

Depending where you are, I’d go for a Titty not because I consider it a better driver ( which it is) but because Titleist seem to have better shafts in their clubs than the other major brands in Australia, and has a better support presence in the major centres than the other Brands. Sorry Dave, but you know I’m right.:)

Don’t get a 913, they’re crap! Grab a 910 with a good shaft, shouldn’t cost you an arm & a leg. Or check 3balls for a razr fit with exotic shaft, they have one great prices & are reliable.

go Xtreme mate

with that SS you will bomb it

stiff trinity will be fine

The new Hot Pro Fairway Woods are pretty impressive. Had a bash with one at the Callaway centre in Sydney today.

The numbers were from their proprietry club fit system so a grain of salt was needed but they showed an 18 yard improvement on the RBZ 3 wood I currently hit. Much better dispersal

Had a hit with the extreme and it was the same story. 13 yards longer and much straighter.

This space for rent.

Hmmm I need to try one but I dont need a 3 wood LOL

wait 6 months and wait till they are cheaper

I might get one, I wouldn’t need a driver.

Used my Xtreme with AD DI 7s today & missed two fairways. The so so swings were still pretty good & the the good swings were monsters. As far as being better than the original fit, I believe it is but to each their own. It’s definitely a lower launching, lower spin head & it allows me to take a higher launching shaft that would normally play too high for me like the Tiger & belt the crap out of it. I’m not a massive fan of big titty Phil but pretty much everything he said about the Xtreme the last couple of weeks rings true for me

Nine out of ten people believe that out of ten people, one person will always disagree with the other nine!

So the Xtreme is the one you reckon? Im looking for straight mostly, not super concerned about length

Rob the Extreme I was referring to was the Driver, sorry for the confusion. It was a little longer than my current driver but not that much. It was straighter on the day.

The 3 wood I hit was the X Hot Pro and it was much longer and on the day very straight. Here is the comparison albeit from a small sample:

Taylor-Made; Rocketballz Tour; 3 Wood; Std Lie; Ozik RUL 70; S; Std Len; HEX Black Tour Golf Ball

Average Total Yards 233
Dispersion Width 74

Callaway Golf; X Hot Pro Fairway Woods; 15; Std Lie; Project X Velocity; 6.0; Std Len; HEX Black Tour Golf Ball

Average Total Yards 251
Dispersion Width 19

I’m guessing the Project X Velocity 6.0 is a good shaft for me. Others may not experience the same results : )

No worries

I feel the razr fi Xtreme is better for me for me for one man reason – Low spin

the 913 just spun a lot more – and that mght down to shafts also

My new shaft coming next week will tell me more….

but luvin the new beast

Golf is only a game…Yeah right who are you kidding?

Granted the razr fit RIP’D nv shaft is pretty crappy, so are Titleist’s Ilima, Kaili & Ahina. The Trinity & Matrix 7m3 are a step up in class compared to the 913’s S+ & D+.
