G’day guys,

I have a Sureshot 8850 (which I’m selling) and it has a lifetime membership meaning that there is unlimited dowloads for the life of the device.

I have emailed my query to Sureshot but it appears their office is closed at the moment.

Before I sell the Sureshot I wanted to restore all the original settings.

My query is this => if I restore the original settings, will the unlimited downloads upgrade be wiped from the device?

I want the purchaser to have the benefit of the unlimited downloads but no doubt they’ll want to be able to register the device in their name, hence why I am proposing to restore the original settings.

Has anyone dealt with this issue?

I reckon all you have to do us change the name that it registered to

is your 8850 the origial sureshot or is it the 8850x

8850x wouldnt matter who registered it anytime as that model came out with the lifetime membership

where as the 8850 origional you had to purchase the lifetime membership

OD, it is the 8850 with the lifetime membership that I purchased.
