The problem still exists as of Feb 2013 – I am using the Android version. Initially, I set my handicap to 15 but since have changed to 13 but GS scores me with one or two additional Stableford points, on holes of Handicap (aka Index in Oz) 14 or 15.

Are you syncing it after changing your hc?

I had the same problem. Golfshot was reporting incorrect stableford scores. I reported the problem and got this reply (below) which solved my problem

“Hi Brett,

As you probably know, courses in Australia are in the process of switching to a more complex form of handicap scoring; USGA (Australia).

Only a few courses have made the transition and it may be that your course does not yet have the necessary rating and slope information.
If you change your handicap style to Congu (UK) this will allow your handicap to be calculated correctly according to the older handicap scoring system.
You may need to alternate between Congu (UK) and USGA (Australia) depending on which course you play.

Account>Handicap>Handicap Style>CONGU (UK) >Save>Sync.

The thing that ticks me off about the new version of GolfShot is that the rotate-to-view-scoresheet no longer works!! You have to go through a convoluted series of taps to get there and back. So annoying. Its apparently an option to turn on/off in the options – but it never works, and my iPhone’s orientation setting is not locked. Anyone else have this problem?

Bretto5 – was having the same problem, changing H’cap system to Congu solved it.

JohnLar – yep, even with the option for rotate-to-view-scoresheet checked it doesn’t work on my iphone.

Make sure you’ve also unchecked the “Auto Handicap” box.

I’m using Golfshot Lite and was wondering my handicap was a little off my official.

I unchecked that box and it keeps the number I put into the Handicap field.

The rotation thing seems to still work for me.
