I think they both reasonably good and they come with good warranties. MGI have great products but I can’t bring myself to pay their asking rate. Motocaddy have a good product as well. Personally I bought a cheapie from EBay. It has been pretty reliable but they are a luck of the draw proposition. I figured I could go through a few of them for the same price.

Went through the same thing about 6 weeks ago. A mate bought the cheapie off ebay, ran out of power 1st round on about 13th, been ok since though.

Go gas! Easier to fix, cheaper to fix, and more preformance potential.

Racin We are talking about electrified versions of push buggies (trolleys) not ride on golf carts. Gas (petrol) versions do not exist in these products.

Also try Parmaker in Mordialloc in South East Melbourne.

I bought an Atomik off ebay and it’s great. At a third of the price of a second hand “name” brand it was a no brainer. The wheels can be touchy to lock onto the axle but like anything else once learned it’s simple. Atomik also make motorcycles, etc and have quite a large presence, by Chinese standards, in Australia. I was closely involved with the Chinese “wheeled” import structure when it started a few years back. I was selling advertising for Trader magazines and traders in Chinese wheeled vehicles started popping up all over Australia. It was stunning how cost effective it was to buy a copy of a Japanese vehicle, and things like mini bikes started to take on a whole new face. Quality was in question then, big time. If you talked to Yamaha, or Honda dealers (in particular) they weren’t pissed off, but they were very verbose regarding the people that were silly enough to buy these things, no service support, no spare parts etc. This has changed, no doubt of that. To what extent, I don’t know, but I would not hesitate to sample some of the Chinese bikes now appearing in the Australian market. Parts and service support are available now, this had to happen, after all it’s a lot easier to send parts to Australia than a whole machine. Service is just a matter of parts, and education…simple. Sure the quality is still lacking, a bit, not very much, my Atomik is a nice looking thing and is easy to use. comes with a nice carry bag, fits in my boot, my kids have a ball using so they love coming to watch dad play. There’s nothing negative about my Atomik buggy…

Got me an Atomik about two years ago. I use it once or twice a month when I don’t feel like carrying. So , I’m not a heavy user but it hasn’t given me any trouble as yet. Battery would lasts about a round and a half.

Thx again. Has anyone got/used the Ezicaddy brand at all. I see they have sponsored the site before. Cheers

My father bought an ezicaddy about 8 years ago and basically had no problems at all with it except the times the remote would get pressed in his pocket while he was putting.Very reliable remote if you were standing beside it but if you were 20 metres away with a bad hip it would not respond to stop so many amusing moments watching playing partners chasing said possessed shopping trolley over hill and down dale.I inherited it 2 years ago and use it quite frequently and it is very reliable but I don’t use the remote.Very sturdy and coupled with a good battery will give you a long trouble free buggy and the after sales service is supposed to be very good too.
