Chunky grip on driver

I have a yellow code 2 paper thick ping grip on my driver. Getting a nasty slice. Is it because of the grip?

have u tried a skinnier grip n see ?

If Tiger plays Lefty will he be that good ?

too thick a grip can prevent your hands from releasing the clubhead properly, so a slice can be a by product of having too thick a grip

yellow is equaivalent to having 3 papers under a normal grip from memory, so effectively your playing with about 5-6 papers on your club.
