Chasing up an Ogio bag, I’m in Perth but I’m happy to order from anywhere if people know of good sources.
They can be tough to find. I got mine from a pro shop (in NSW). Great value ($180 for a stand bag) and its top notch. They are a great bag. have some really cool funky styles too.
Yeah, they are very nice. A friend of mine uses one but he sourced it when he was in the US. I was after the exodus or the syncro cart bags.
I have a grom stand bag and its a top bag. Seen a guy with some sort of cart bag and it looked pretty good. As far as WA goes, i got nothing. Not even sure who the distributor is.

might be pointing out the obvious but there is international distributor on their site:

I recently got one via FleaBay from the States sent to Aus. for a lot less than I could buy one here for, (and that’s including freight!) Be warned though if you find one on EBay, different outlets charge different shipping rates, some are astronomical, like we are talking more than the bag!

Thanks, mate. Much appreciated.

After scoring local shops for stock and coming up empty I ordered an Ozone and Vaporlite from the US and got them delivered to my door for $246 all up. Found the seller on eBay and contacted them to organise a bundled and delivered price.
Do you mind letting me know who the seller was? All the shipping prices I’m getting are 200-300 just for the postage.
Go to ebay and search Ogio. You’ll get bugger all from Australia but check out the International sellers at the bottom. If you want a reputable power seller, Globalgolf will ship one for US$99 + $79 shipping, so should be at your door under A$200
Or just go to EBay US direct rather than the Aus version, (www.ebay.com) and search there, helps to change the ‘Posts to’ at the top to Aus rather than US! (but do not take this for gospel, the bag I bought had ‘ships worldwide’ tucked away in the smallprint!)

i was just on golfworks website and they had a few ogio bags on their site, but had to call for prices
When you try and call for prices it gives you the numbers of the local drummond stores that stock their products, all of whom are out of stock with no intention of restocking any time in the near future.
Try Caddyshack in Cannington on Albany Hwy or call them if it’s not nearby for you in Perth. I got mine off the owner and he had a few Ogio cart bags couple of months ago. Amart used to stock Ogio bags but not anymore. Apart from that, I doubt Perth will have any other source for Ogio bags…
Got mine from eBay seller 939golf4. They quote $49 for shipping 1 bag and did a deal for 2.
Caddyshack are all out too with no intention of restocking. I dropped 939golf4 a line, thanks a lot for that. I wonder why these bags are so hard to find? They seem to be far better made than the vast majority of bags availible locally. I can’t understand why there isn’t much interest.
I guess they aren’t NIKE or CALLAWAY or any of the other big famous brands so the majority of golfers aren’t keen to walk around without a large brand name proudly displayed on the side of their bag.
Precisely the point …. in this day and age its quite clear branding and image is far more important than fit, performance or functionality. Thats quite OK so long as you understand it attracts a $$ premium to follow the crowd.
they are excellent quality bags. They are very comfortable and the functionablilty is great. IMHO they are the best bags available and the prices are very good.
Agree guys, Ogio bags are aweomse, really top quality!
Srixon i-701 Tour irons are HERE!!!!! |
I’ve been to the dark side (aforementioned brand name carry bags) and have seen the light with the Ogios …. rest assured I won’t be going back !
hey tendril, did you end up finding one? i too am in perth and trying to locate one. i can get a grom shipped for $250 from the states, but would prefer it in a different colour to the one they have available. i am trying to find a grom or an edge. also looking at burton bags, anyone try one?
