g’day. i have just bought a new Gurien Rife Aussie putter and it is amazing. I especially like the weighting of the putter. It sits like a beauty. only used 1 round yet and zilch 3 putts.

I am interested to see if anyone else has any opinions on gurien rife putters? thanks

yep over priced – bloody ridiculous

Amen to Phantom’s and Kiwi’s posts!!

Feel it, execute it, live with it.

With $300 I am coming home with a scotty newport 2 or a yes callie.

Srixon i-701 Tour irons are HERE!!!!!

But, in saying that, I have never heard of or seen a rife putter, but in the pics the putter does look very nice 10unda. Anything with a Aussie flag is cool!!!

Yeah whatever works for you, but $300 for a putter is lots of cash. If it was a scotty thats not too bad because they have great resale, but still i couldnt justify it.

Thanks for the great advice nigel0. I hope you like your golf

jarrod07au , i’d like to see you come home with a scotty cameron. nice comment mate.

Hey Guys

John here from Quality Golf.

10 unda – I am really glad you like the Aussie.

If any of you have any questions regarding the Rife Putters I would be very happy to answer them.

In regards to price – due to the OZ dollar going up – the price is also coming down. When we first started selling Rife, the two bar was $349 + $40 for the weight kit. This is now selling for between $269 – $299 depending on where you buy it.

Please feel free to ask me any questions.

John

I have no experience with or opinion on the putter in question but am well and truly amazed people think $300 is too much for a putter when its used for 25-40 strokes per round yet no-one bats an eyelid at $700+ for the latest driver you’d be lucky to use 10-14 times in a round ?

Those enlightened souls above should not lose sight of the fact golf is about taking as few a strokes as possible to get the ball in the hole – its that simple ! Driving it 350+ make make you feel like a man and/or earn you awe amongst your peers but dropping a few extra 6-15 footers and/or taking 3-putts off the card will have a far greater impact on improving most people’s scoring.

10unda – if it the putter in question feels good and gives you confidence on the greens I’d suggest its money well spent.

10unda,

I don’t know if your post was legit or a commercial for JohnQGA ( or if you ARE JohnQGA!!) but I have to agree with bencam.

No-one flinches to spend that kind of money on a driver which “promises” extra metres (but rarely delivers) , to make us feel manly , but many will use whatever is in the garage for 30%+ or their strokes per round.

I like to middle a long drive as much as anyone but… I suppose it depends on your preference .

hi i think dynacast and spalding putters are better. they compare to scotty camerons

Don’t feed the troll.

And why did you change your username in 3 minutes “todd69lover”?

golflover, you are a goose, you have a couple of posts about putters that back up my thoughts. If you are not fair dinkum, rack off the site.

A bad day at golf is still a lot better than a good day at work.
