Anyone used them? read some good reviews about them – pretty intereseted in purchasing one – maybe the 001 or 002.

I just want to know how much they are in the shops. i know u can get off ebay/internet pretty cheap, but somoene told me they are $250 at some golf shop. Is that true? They must be pretty good if it is…

They are a sensational putter. I used to use a 2 ball but these are way better for alignment. /the new Pipe 2 models have just been released and they are a lot better than the first range.

So whats the diff between the original and #2?

Yes they are the pipe 2. They now have a line right to the back of the pipe and it is flat on top and a better insert.

Are the Pipe 2’s out in Australia yet? Can’t seem to find any on ebay/internet…

Might be, I didn’t go through the whole process to get a price, just worked it out roughly on weight from their intl pricing list.

The main difference between the original and the new model is the line down the middle of the pipe and the insert in the putter face.

The putter was for sale in my local golf shop for $199 [reduced].

It is heavier than my precious blade but I found the wieght actually helped my stroke.

I would highly recommend it [especially at the price at Rock bottom]

At that price, even I decided to have one more try at fixing my putting in the end (Of course, I was already buying a couple of other clubs from there, so the shipping cost wasn’t quite so significant for me).

I had a hit with one in the shop yesterday and they were selling for $175, down from over 200. I felt a little bit bad about using a real shop for research, but I figure I’ll buy something from there in the next few months.

Weight was good, not too heavy, but heavy enough to feel where the head was. I managed to hole quite a few 2-3 metre putts with it, and I rarely hole ANYTHING. The pipey thing seemed to help with alignment, but it also could have been because I was playing on a narrow green with parallel sides. :) The face was a little soft and bouncy compared to what I’m used to, but that’s pretty much the norm for new putters, and I reckon I could get used to it. The grip felt comfortable. Overall, I quite liked it. It’s on the way with my driver and wedges from my other thread.

Of course, as stated, I wouldn’t buy any putting equipment on my recommendation. No doubt I’ll be putting like a dud and blaming my equipment again in a month’s time. :)

I have always thought Nickent in general is dodgy. Probably cause I know the guy that brings them in and he is a wan….a
