I played this one along with the ISG tipping comp last year. It was a good way to keep up to date with feilds, form, stats and player history etc etc. It was also good fun.

I’ll play again and I will dig up the thread on it in the Sports Talk forum.

Can’t go a season without a tipping comp. I;m in as well. Someone might have to put up a ‘How to pick and change your teams for dummies’ (Me of course) guide though.

you need to pick each week.

Group A- 2 players
Group B- 4 players
Group C- 2 players

Your players are locked in at the deadline for each Tournament and cannot be changed until next tournie.

You can swap players around in each group only, A, B and C .
Only after each of the 4 rounds and before the next deadline for the next round.

Ie take player 1 in group A and replace with Player 2 in group A if he misses the cut for example.

Once a player has a round in a tournament, ie, you move him up to the top line off the bench, this counts to his maximum of 10 rounds for the whole year for that player. ie you cant just lave Tiger as one of your picks…or you can, but only the first 10 tournaments he plays.

Scoring is simple, the lowest round for the day gets 20 poiints, the next best gets 18 points, the next best gets 16, down to 0. So if your player has 10 shots worse than the best score of the day he gets 0 points.

Bonus points for winning (20 points) and top 2 and 3 places get bonuses 10 and 5 points from memory.

Pretty good tipping comp as keeps you guessing and changing each day during the tournament.

I don’t like the fact that you are not eligble for the prizes, not being a U.S. citizen. But then again, only in it for the fun.

Thanks for the simple version of how to do things Army. I gather from the above, you are able to change your choices during the tourney after each round if they are doing shite. Is that correct? Then at the end of the tourney you can change your whole team if desired?

Can you make changes after the cut?

Yes, there is a window to make changes to your team after each of the 4 tournament rounds.

Think of it as ‘subbing’ players off and on the bench.

For some reason everyone elses selected players are coming up but mine say “Players not selected”. I did that last night any ideas on what I am not doing??
