come on make a prediction !! yes or no? can the shark do the impossible & actually hold on? just a quick poll ..for the record i say no.

Absolutely he can !

This is his opportunity to lose the choker tag from years gone by…

More to the point though – this is his chance to show the new wife how good he really was/is

I think he can win it and then Chrissy will come back and win wimbledon next year!!!

Ok, a little far fetched. But yeah, looking at his demeanour on the course i think he might just have finally found a good place in his life and that might be enough (coupled with the talent that he has always had) to get him through.

I still think Choi is his biggest hurdle though

Such is Life

Going to be difficult for whoever wins it this year. Yes I think he can win it . Like all of us he just needs the breaks to go his way on the day.

A bad day on the golf course is better than no golf at all. :(

No one who ever had a lesson would have a swing like mine

Lee Trevino

far out! i just got up, checked fox sports and saw the greggy is leading after 3 rounds!!!! maybe he can…. i think he just needs some coin after the divorce settlement…...

Depends on the weather. If the wind keeps blowing, I think he’s in with a real chance. He doesn’t want easier conditions where others can score low.

If he pulls this off it will be one of the most amazing wins in major golf history.

I think he will win, why?

because hes handles these conditions better than anyone else so far…..

hes a creative player in the win you need creativity

did anyone see that 5 iron pitch in the wind last night. that was creative.

I think he’ll take it, he has the experience to do it.

Dan

yes
BUt…..

If Tiger plays Lefty will he be that good ?
Square is Good ? Sure is, if it's the right stick !

I think paddy is the big danger.I think the pairing with KJ wil suit Norman better. I think hes a big cahnace to hold it together but it has to blow.

I expect I will be disappointed tomorrow.

I hope it blows like buggery tonight.

I really hope so. It’s been a pleasure to watch him the last few nights and to see him win would be awesome! But I agree with the others…. I hope it blows an absolute gale!

As long as conditions don’t get too friendly I think he can win. If the course plays easy then I think he has got no hope.

He can do it if the wind keeps blowing. If the wind dies I’ll still be cheering for him though. Come on Shark!!!!

hope he can do it

I’ll be very tired on monday morning at work!!

I would love to see the Shark lift up the Claret Jug at the end of the 4th round, but I see Padraig coming up with the goods.

I checked out the forecast for the 4th round at Royal Birkdale ( http://uk.weather.com/weath... ) and there is no mention of high winds.

Today’s Forecast

I believe in him and want him to win so much – I never backed him and if Rocco wins as I’ve said before I stand to win $1005 but I will not be disappointed in the least if it’s Greg that beats him! Go the Shark and thanks Chris for motivating him!

Political Correctness is doctrine fostered by a delusional minority and by the media, which holds forth the proposition it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

What’s the saying about a leopard and its spots?

Something strange happens in Greg’s mind as the pressure mounts.

It is a different Greg out there this weekend – the guy looks like he is having real fun out there. The old Greg wouldn’t have been smiling for most of the round. Nonbody expects him to win – probably even him. If he keeps that attitude up and doesn’t get all serious out there I can see him winning.

Now he’s married to a motivator and she doesn’t need his money… he’s motivated alright!! The Greg Norman of old – way way back!!

I think we should all be proud of what he is doing , i realy hope he wins , i think it will be the best thing that has happened in golf since Tiger come on the seen.

Win or loose seeing him play like the way he is brings back memories from 20 years ago , in reality he has nothing to prove but i do hope he can close it out , it will be some thing to see.

Go Greg i,m sure every one wants to see you do it!!!!!!!!!

Eh No!!!! Happy to see him finish second though, I can’t go past my fellow Dubliner. But I have to say wherever Norman finishes, he has given a great deal to the 2007 event already
