Especially checked into this forum today, to see what’s happened to the showdown between manmex and aussie_bomber?

Who turned up, who won, how much money was exchanged??

Any word on that matchplay scheduled for today?
 

i think mad mex took a raincheck
went back to Mexicol city for a hols

I had to call it off because pesos just don’t convert well into Aussie dollars! 100 peso bet is only $10!!! Costs me more in petrol to turn up!! :-P

Actually, as match referee I gave manmex my email address and never got a response, so we can absolve AB of any skirt wearing tendencies (at least with respect to the aforementioned match).

The thread broke down into an increasingly vociferous bout of nationalistic slinging off which probably would have caused a diplomatic breakdown between our two countries had the Admins not brought it to a halt.
