I really clicked with Mark Gibson, Jim Kennedy and Lorien Scott and got great results from working with each of them at various times. At the time I lived in Canberra so it was a real hike to see Mark or Jim at the Gold Coast.

In Melbourne and Canberra I have tried quite a few others but I haven’t found anyone that has really worked for me.

Did a few Junior Coacing Clinics with Charlie Earp.
Gave me a few good tips. He loved my swing, so thats a good thing!

Coaching In person: Biomechanic (All Melbourne Golfers do yourself a favour and go see him!)

Thanks to the wonders of modern Internet Technology I also receive email assistance from some great sources from here and abroad, one being an absolute swing marvel in the US who’s advice always captures my attention!

Feel it, execute it, live with it.

Ian Paswell, David Merriman, – David was very good

Paul Hart aka The Dart. Definitely a successful turnaround!

100% perfect is a sad neurotic state of mind. Better than yesterday is saner. - Dart, 2008.

Paul ‘Misty’ Morgan, I believe the Dart knows him. Certainly has helped me a lot with basics….now I just have to follow his instructions.

Does anyone know where is Sandy Jameson is teaching these days?

Rick Maclean at SHortland Driving Range. Good guy and great coach.

Jp
I had my lesson with him at Patterson Lakes G/Club back in may
Not sure if he is still there or where he may be now.
He had very relaxed teaching style with out the air of eliteisim
that is readily available with some Pro’s.

Such is Life

Not a bad coach is Tommy. Taught me a few things as well (alcohol consumption) when he was living just up the road from Ashlar GC back in the 70’s. Didn’t play golf, but geez he spent a lot of time in the clubhouse.

The key to success is to learn to do something right, then do it right every time. Oh I wish.....

Had the house next to the old 10th tee. I think its the first now.

I played a bit of golf with Russell Mullins at Forster a few years back and he was laughing about the number of times he and Tommy got thrown out of the club at Ashlar. What years were you there??

Yeah Have Clubs, I was a member at Ashlar from 74 to about 81 (I think memory is clouded by too many with Tommy and others) Many a story was told on the 1st tee, (yeah now the 10th) on Saturday mornings of Tommies antics on a Friday night. He used to like to help lock up apparently, cause the wouldn’t go home while the doors were open. His missus at the time, wouldn’t open their doors either, so he didn’t have much choice.
