I recently moved to Brisbane and my good mate is living in the Gold Coast. We are looking to join up at a club half way between Brisbane and the Goldy. Any ideas or recommendations?

We are after a club with a nice easy and friendly atmosphere. We both shoot +15 but take our golf seriously and still want to go out and have a bit of fun and enjoy a laugh.

Should check CARBROOK excellent condition reasonable fees friendly place in area you are looking for.

yeah carbrook is a similar price to winderoo and is a nice track, trouble is (when i played there) it smelt like a raw sewage plant

Try Gainsborough Greens…Great course and really cheap membership (I think about $1200)...It’s near Logan so I think they have had trouble getting members due to its half way spot between Brisbane and the Gold Coast…Really nice course, its abou the best value i’ve seen in SE Qld and sounds about perfect for you at halfway.
