Has anyone used them?
What extremely cheap items did you get?

I noticed that they have some codes/coupons that give you discounts/bonus items

Does anyone know any good active ones?
(eg. 10% off, $10 off delivery, free hats, free tees etc.)

I ordered some 52, 56 and 60 Cleveland CG 12 wedges from RBG last week, Monday, for under $350 AUD delivered, i played with them on Friday, excellent price and service.

Highly recommend them.

The free delivery probably applies to USA only, the other bonuses should apply elsewhere.

How do the aussie retailers compete…

RBG do have some very cheap stuff, but is mainly older or non popular stuff that is dirt cheap. 3balls golf on ebay has some very cheap stuff. There rating of GOOD is like new really. I have seen some with a 4/7 rating and they are as new.

The MP 32s are on the way…....

yea noticed 3balls sell a lot of 2nd hand stuff while RBG sell new

Have bought balls, driver, irons, bag, umbrellas and other items. Delivery is quick, price is reasonable.

have you used any coupons? do you know of some that are still valid today?

Member bought 3 to 5 rescue, with headcovers, 6 to SW irons, Adams with graphite shafts, new for A$450 delivered from RBG. Probably superceded but were about 40% of local price. Had them delivered to his door in 5 days.

A bad day at golf is still a lot better than a good day at work.

Their free shipping coupon for the Players Champ is over. For overseas, shipping will be discounted by 10 or 15 bucks. Join their mailing list and you’ll get the coupons in the emails.

IMO if you can wait, they will have a 10 or 12% off site-wide sale for the next major, the US Open. Seems to be their MO.

I have bought a few clubs and golf balls from them and they are fast and cheap.

Sure, most of the gear is superceded but they still sell some great sticks.

Have used coupons in the past. International delivery is usually discounted and never free.

I’ve used them to purchase clubs (driver, hybrid, putter, wedges, fariway woods), apparel, shoes, balls, accessories, cheap prices and fast delivery for reasonalbe price compared to some other outlets.

The goods are superceded models but well priced saving $$$’s if compared to local outlets even when factoring the shipping charges. Goods on your doorstep within 4-7 days from placement of order.

I highly recommend them.

When purchasing from rockbottomgolf, do you have to pay any other taxes when paying for your items? I heard someone mention somewhere you have to pay a 3% tax or somehting like that when using a credit card…?

Rock bottom are good when they get it right but terrible when they don’t,won’t return emails or even phone calls,I’ll never use them again.

I found that also. But after 5 or 6 emails of complaint none that got any response. I sent one that said something like “get off your fat lazy arse and try to be a better customer relations person”
I got an immediate response and fully satisfied with the action that followed.
Other than that, I have bought a dozen or so things from them all being very pleasurable transactions.

Slice – you don’t pay rockbottom any credit card surcharge.

We’ve had 2 orders go wrong with small items.

The first time only one email was needed, and they sent 3 gloves for the one (3 ordered) that was missing the same day.

Then a set of spikes worth $5(among many other items) was missing and I thought I’ve got no bloody hope here…lol I wasn’t concerned, but I gave it a go and about a week later they emailed me saying they’d been sent!

Hi all,

Two US-based e-tailers I use frequently are:

proshopwarehouse.com

globalgolf.com (also associated site: golfshoesonly.com)

Top service, great value – new and used gear, the highest grade used stuff looks brand new. One of the “used” items I ordered turned out to be brand new, still in the plastic (Adams Idea Pro hybrid).

Cheers

limited selection
prices can be very good
and if you fish one from eBay can be had for an even better deal

Communication as alluded to is very variable

globalgolf.com is good too

If Tiger plays Lefty will he be that good ?
Square is Good ? Sure is, if it's the right stick !
Good Golf is Fun plus the Great Outdoors...
In the Bag: Clubs and Balls. My Handicap is Bad Golf.

Kyc – I’d agree about the selection and price with clubs. You can often get clubs at less than half store price at ebay auctions.

I think the golf apparel is cheap and top notch ( make sure you check sizing with manufactuer) You can get 4 items delivered for $15 dollars if you time it right.

I’m currently on my 2nd Rock Bottom order.
First order I didn’t receive any freebies (Purchased off Ebay), but this time I managed to score the 3 free gloves (Purchased direct off their site)
Just after my order was dispatched they were advertising a Doz free Precept U-Tri Balls with any order over $75. I needed the gloves… Bloody dog chewed the other.

I haven’t got a problem with using last years products, they’re still new afterall.
Have got an Adams RPM LP 3 Wood, a Nickent 3DX Square Driver and a pair of Oakley shoes arriving on Monday.
Can’t wait!

Fedex is simply fantastic. My latest order was shipped 24 hours after I processed my payment (20th May in US) and it’ll arrive on my doorstep in North QLD on Monday 26th.
