I use Real World Golf as a training tool. If you aren’t familiar with it you actually swing a golf club hitting an imaginary ball, this is reflected on the TV screen and gives you an idea of ball flight.

It isn’t accurate of course but I do find it helps with rhythm and focus. The really good thing I like about it is it takes the distraction of the ball out of the equation, it isn’t there to trick the mind into thinking totally about it as opposed to your swing.

Is there anyone else that uses it?

Awesome Cliff, I actually wanted to get that on Xbox format, simply because I am a certified golfing nut! But there is no Australian format currently available. Am very jealous! hahaha…

Very cool, I have wanted one of them for a few years now, since I went to the indoor golf centre in Mitchell, Canberra, they have five of those sort of things set up where you can play different courses from all over the world. If I only had the room and the money…..

I figure an extra $10k on a housing loan won’t be noticeable… If I was buying it as stand alone for current house, no way!! Plus the roof isn’t high enough, have already hit it with a golf club swinging in the house… prior to repainting that is!! hahahaha….

You have that problem too, thankfully my wife hasn’t noticed yet.
