Welcome Josh. If you are anything like me, joining this site is the best thing you can do for your golf (with the exception of lessons!). Have fun and enjoy the ride!

Welcome aboard Josh. As long as you can drive 325m into a howling easterly, you’ll fit in fine!

Cheers

Welcome aboard Josh. You will find this mob pretty friendly. A few strange ones, but still friendly. Tell us a little about yourself & where you play your golf.

P.S. please don,t say you live in Narangba.

A bad day on the golf course is better than no golf at all. :(

Gday Josh, welcome to the group. Hope you find the place as welcoming as I have!

My balls glow in the dark!!!

hey josh i am new here my self. hey pom we had a holiday house at narangba when i was a kid does that count? that was 25 years ago man it has changed

Hey all, thanks for the welcome!
Everyone is very friendly indeed!

I basiclly started off a few weeks ago when I went with a few mates to the driving range at Terry Hills during my uni holidays, enjoyed it alot – so I went with them a few more times, and got more interested.
I went on the net to do some research on taking lessons and golf article and thats what led me here.

My local driving range will be the Macquarie Uni Driving range, as I live around the area. Is it any good? Is the golf pro there a good teacher?

yes friendly josh
but only until you have an opinion!!!!

out of the sin bin & loving it!

If you look ast the Brisbane Golfers thread you will see Narangba mentioned several times.I lived around that area 30 years ago & still have friends in Narangba Does not look anything like it did 30 years ago. Where are you now Otto, I moved North to the tropics in 75.

Hi Josh – welcome to the obsession.

Have a good read of the golf school articles for starters then post any questions. I’m not too knowledgable having just started playing a few months ago but you’ll always find someone on here that can help out.

Cheers,

Mick
